Your options are: Enrol on the 5737 apprenticeship and complete the new easier NVQ. Enrol on the CG 2357 which is the older NVQ and involves more writing. Or, if you have five years in the industry, not including your training (although many training providers will just take your word for it 😏) you can enrol on the 2346 experienced worker route. It’s the easier NVQ from the apprenticeship, but you will need a level 3 inspection and testing qualification like the CG 2391, and BS 7671 18th edition. Hi, I'm doing my 2365 level 3 at college and have started my nvq already since I'm am experienced worker. I plan on taking my am2 after my nvq is complete Is the work place document another word for the nvq portfolio? Or do I need to have this as well as my nvq
Thanks for this, I'll watch it later. I'm doing the 5357. I'm in college in two weeks and we're getting the design project handed out to us and the design assessment too. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it but my worry is how to supply the hotel rooms. I'm guessing each room needs it's own lighting and power circuits to satisfy the requirement that a fault in one room will not interrupt another room. I'm thinking a 20 way sp board on each floor for the rooms (but then how to balance the phases with two floors of accommodation) and a suitable tpn board on the pool level.
see my college gave us our logbooks at the end of year 3! so now they are rushign us to complete it and with little to no help im so confused on unit 106
@@Pure_electrical_training I'm training at the JTL training facilitie in Nottingham and I'm employed doing day release. I did my level 2 electrical installation buildings and structures after I left school and wanting to get back into it and obviously an apprenticeship is the best method
Is this worth getting if your going to be doing your 2365 level 2 come, September 2021, and then plan on doing level 3 and nvQ, am2/am2s?? And any ideas where I can buy one as Amzon says, it not advisable

I’m doing a level 2 technical certificate 8202 with city and guilds at my college, I’m revising for my exam in April. Is there any videos I can watch to help me revise all the work I need to know, my teacher says to read though the book I’ve got but I hate reading for revision.
Our whole industry is built on reading books to gain knowledge, video’s will only get you so far and you cannot take them into the exams, but some books you can
It depends what workplace logbook (NVQ) you are doing. If you are going down the CG2357 route, this wouldn’t really help you, as it’s set up differently
@@Pure_electrical_training I haven't started the nvq yet but I thought it might be a good idea to purchase it so I could see everything that's required for the work experience side of it since I don't work in the trade yet and am coming to the end of my level 2.
