good video. tip: speed up the bits where your at the traffic light on movie maker so when you are at the trafic light click split then when you start moving press split then speed up th bit you cut out
I downloaded the Euro Truck Simulator I have a modded truck i have played and then the game stopd working :( So i downloaded this and its working :) its a cool Game i leave a like .
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 324 ? that means basically the same engine 3.2 liter petrol V6 as in E 320 car ? Unfortunately the engine sound is just not like it.
Based on the engine sound that 313 CDI in CCD produces, i'll say the sound matches that of the 313 CDI more realistically than if it's 324. Because the 313 CDI using a diesel engine, max allowed engine rpm around 4000. For a 324 being using petrol engine the max allowed engine rpm is much higher around 6000. The engine sound from CCD for this mod sounds rather dull & flat (which is typical for 4-cylinder engines which 313 CDI uses) which also doesn't 'run' into the higher rpm range (not surprising because diesel engine here) so overall 'fits' the 313 CDI much more accurately than if for 324, which i'll say they should use the sound from 300E or E320 instead to reflect the petrol 6-cylinder engine used in Sprinter 324.
I don't know about V6, but 2.1 CDI revs up to 4200. And 6 gears, just like every other Sprinter from those years. Anyway, I was just watching some random videos from CCD because I have had an idea about getting it, but from what I saw driving is not even close even to ETS2 which after all isn't so much realistic. So I think I'm gonna pass on it.
Come to think of it, the Sprinter 324 might have also used the 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine from the car range i.e. S350, E350 e.g. so i'll expect the engine to sound somewhat similar to those models instead of like some dull & boring 4-cylinder which the lower end Sprinters have used previously. You mentioned ETS2, that reminded me of a Sprinter mod from there as well as in CCD which sounded like some big V8 diesel truck engine, which of course is totally way off reality as Sprinters never had any V8 engines offered so far & even if have, would be not larger than the 4-litre V8 diesel used on the old series E400, S400.
I observed in CCD the gauges don't work as fully as in ETS2 i.e. only speedometer & tachometer & some lamps work, other gauges don't move but in ETS2 more gauges & lamps work like real. Furthermore in CCD the drivable roads limited & seems not expandable unlike in ETS2. But i hope soon somebody can produce some software which can take in real map data with 3D buildings from Here maps & Google maps to make simulation driving much more realistic !
