Can someone tell me why when football teams win the players don't even come out and congratulate and thank the crowd for coming out, no autographs or anything, seems disrespectful and selfish.
Sometimes before the game but rarely after. The officials don't like players getting too close to fans because fans in the UK can be really hands on when they are pumped up after a game or a goal so they often separate them. Not to mention autograph hunting is more of a pre game thing, I don't ever see autograph books open at the end of matches.
Some players of clubs do it. I'm a FC Utrecht supporter from The Netherlands standing on the best supporters site and they thank us specifically after every match.

And yes, united's players might have worth more than city's but thats cause they've worked hard to develop as decent players, unlike City who spend loads of cash trying to acquire the best players. It makes things worse when Mancini keeps complaining their squad isn't good enough to compete the titles LOL The fact is...clubs like City are unfair to other teams. lol every logical perosn knows where United got their money from. They build their squad with money thats earned by the club. What the heck are City if they never had a RICH owner. Quality? they do have some skilled players but they are PURCHASED by their owner. The majority of the clubs have to balance their book every year in order to sign their ideal players.
