I graduated from EHS class of ‘87 and lived on Cherry st. The Macdonald’s on Broad street has been there since the 80’s and so has Kids Place clothing store...I worked there for a short period of time after graduation! So many memories from my teen years and so good to see my old neighborhood thriving! Thanks for the video!

Brings back memories of my childhood. Spent many weekends in Elizabeth. Shoppers World was me, my mom, and two sisters spot on weekends.

I haven’t lived I Elizabeth NJ since 2017. Loved the downtown, loved shopping the Five and Dime stores. I hope you go on Elizabeth Ave, interesting shops.

Brought back some nastalgia to when i was just a shorty not even 11 yet walking all the way from the basement of the ymca shelter with my mom to either the supremos or eagles & back (& the LONG WAY!😅) Thru snow, rain, sleet & even hurricanes didnt matter because the food vouchers the shelters gave if there was a problem with foodstamps would expire and be no good if you didnt use them the week you got um i have very vivid memories of walking through hurricane sandy with my mom to the space spot that used to be on the 400 block of east jersey thats the hood right there but that store not there no more they done got raided to many times they had to just give up its actually still vacant if anybody lookin to own they own store in the hood fr😅

Enjoyed looking at the scenes I knew like the back of my hand when I was a teenager until I moved out in 1960. Thursday nights were the shopping nights where guys who could drive would cruise up and down Broad St. and Elizabeth Ave. Levy Bros. and Goerkes were the big department stores. Vogels Record store was a main stop, they had all the 45 rpm's. Thos. McAns and Flagg Shoes had the shoes teens wanted. The New and Regent Theaters had the new movies. Public Service Bus was the main bus company (preceded NJM Transit). So many memories, have to stop.

The truth is asked for a jury trial and 99% the cop won't show up and your tickets get dismissed. You have to take that chance. Try it you have Nothing to loose!

Great footage of Elizabeth, which actually has a clean and vibrant downtown. Suzuki. I'd had mostly good luck years ago with my XL-7, which went to 186,000 miles when I'd traded it out. That SUV was a serious gas hog! You're correct that their auto division had left the U.S. market in 2011, which ultimately made it REALLY difficult for owners to get replacement parts for repairs. For that, I've got to say that Suzuki sucks, and it's a given that it's safe to say that once you leave the U.S. market, you're gone for good and so is any market share you've given up. But yeah, you've got a great channel and I hope your subscriber base grows!

I worked the train station from 2005 to 2013. It was Michelino's Pizza for those years. It was a homeless hangout. Druggies Not the best part of the city.
