Ahhhhhh my hometown!! That McDonald’s is the first one we ever went to as kids back in the 80’s! I live in NC now but every time I visit NJ I have to roll through E Town for the memories!

I’m 41 and I was Born and raised in Ohio but I spent so many summers in Elizabeth my mom’s whole family is from Elizabeth so she would go back every summer so many memories.I’ll never forget Court St, Mario’s Pizza and 3rd Street and especially Broad St..

Omg did I see public phones wow that’s too funny great memories I grew up in Elizabeth NJ back in the 70s and 80s looks very much the same I used to go to a place were I used to buy records close to the train station wonderful memories Elizabeth cheers 🥂 and thanks for downloading

Grew up in Elizabeth in the 70". Lived on Elizabeth Ave and in Elmora...Broadstreet has change a lot..I did see the Ritz theater which was amazing. Saw many movies in that theater...Thanks for the video

Mostly Broad St? Hard to get my bearings till I Saw the Ritz on E Jersey. Has the arch changed completely? I thought it was the turnpike for a sEC.

All of New Jersey is a hell - with the exception of some rural towns in the south. The state of NJ has the highest taxation, severely lacks free market activity, most buildings are stuck in the late 1960s, gangs run amok in every part of the state from Passaic/Bergen to Camden. And on top of all that, the weather is brutal. Why people want to live in mediocrity is beyond me.

@@dontneednomanstoptelllingm8481 Jersey City as a whole has become quite a good city, at least as far as ones in NJ go imo. Probably going to continue to get more expensive as the neighborhoods outside Downtown continue to gentrify.
