Edit: I was rude and forgot to say what I wanted to say first. Good luck on your story. I have been told I'm a skilled short story author but haven't put anything on paper since college,18 years ago. It was actually published. Sad thing is I don't remember what it was called, only that it was about an evil goat. I hate goats. Dude, just last night I was trying to think on how long I had been listening. The earliest I thought remembered was when I first went to Iraq at the end of 2014. He has just started. I still can't believe I have been working in Iraq for 10 years now.

@@daledrakewriter4912 John is becoming more of a rounded out character. He's no longer just a macho cop and he's more likable now. That and the fact that much of the beginning was spent just laying groundwork. Which is obviously necessary but inherently not as fast paced or interesting as the last couple chapters have been. But neither of those things is what I'd call a flaw in the writing or the story. I'm like that with pretty much all stories...TV, movies, books. I want to get to the meat of the story ASAP.
