You hear a little bit of "Callas" in her voice because Laura and Maria Callas have a darker kind of vocal timbre but I see also the singing style of Angela Gheorghiu ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PxEzirKr4pk.html ). Keep in mind that Laura has no proper opera vocal training. Laura at 15 years old has an unmatched native voice, better than Callas or other professional opera singer. Just imagine how her voice will sound in the future if she will have a proper opera vocal training ...

@@AVIDEOGAL Laura get some good training from Nicoleta, but the truth is more complicated than you can imagine. In fact Laura wasn't singing pure opera because she didn't use specific opera singing techniques. Even now, after 5 years Laura doesn't know those techniques, at all. I think Nicoleta was forbidden to really initiate Laura into the true art of classical music. It seems that whoever really decided the career path for Laura didn't like the idea of Laura becoming a professional opera singer. In fact Laura didn't have "Bel Canto" training, not at all. She begun to perform opera by herself and later she had a light and short vocal guidance from mezzosoprano Nicoleta Roman (one hour weekly for about a year). Nothing more ...

@@karadeniz3266 Yes, it's exactly what @Vlad Tepes meant. Laura discovered the "Bel Canto" touch of her voice by herself, trying to adapt her "puberty voice" for a better sound. She started a light classical vocal training (one hour weekly) shortly before RGT performance, and her mentor was the Romanian/American mezzosoprano Nicoleta Roman. In my opinion, this was the best period of Laura's post AGT career, and the vocal training with Nicoleta Roman was exactly what she needed to enter the world of classical music, especially opera, as a future and undeniable diva. Also, this "Vissi D'Arte" is the apex of Laura's musical career.

Ma bucur ca vad un comentariu apreciativ din partea cuiva competent in domeniu la adresa unei tinere voci geniale nascuta pentru opera. @@golden-63 I saw a lot of masterclass lessons and I'm proud to tell that Laura's voice quality surpass other singers, even pro because of her natural gift which is UNIQUE. I know Laura has yet to learn technics and tips, but can you imagine what happens if she becomes a professional opera singer ? It will be a musical massacre, nothing less. @@jorgecalvo8460 Laura has the most phenomenal native voice I've ever heard, a real and enormous gift from The Creator Himself. Also, before RGT and AGT she didn't have any vocal training, she started to perform opera by herself trying to imitate celebrities on RU-vid or from records. Laura virtual opera idols are Angela Gheorghiu, Virginia Zeani and Maria Callas. Laura's vocal timbre is very similar to that of Maria Callas and the interpretative style is similar to that of Angela Gheorghiu.

Floria Tosca closing aria was expressing the pain of life and why God abandoned her. Callas and the tragedies in her life was able not only sing Tosca but to become to become Tosca. Laura, at her tender age makes grown men cry but I do hope after she has experienced more of life she will come back to revisit Tosca. We are witnessing the beginning of a stellar career that will recognize her as the Bel Canto soprano of the 21st century

@@golden-63 Slapped ? I think it is a little too extreme, and nobody knows if Nicoleta Roman agreed or not. I don't know even she was there or not ... I think it was Laura's decision. The building is not an opera house, it is a common space (hall) with poor/bad acoustics for opera or musical concerts. Laura (15 yo) performed Vissi D'Arte inside a church in Jerusalem without a microphone. Reckless, I know, but impressive ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZvDEcvaJDSM.html ). At least she proved that her vocal chords are very resilient and flexible.

@@golden-63 Yes, I know but she already did it. What is done, remains done. No one can reverse that. I don't know exactly how many times she did it, but I think there was 3 or 4 times. I also think she imitate Angela Gheorghiu or Maria Callas from YT. I recognized some of Angele Gheorghiu performing style.

@@heatherwatson4545 She sings mostly pop music with a few operatic arias thrown in. That's not what an opera singer is. Opera is a theatrical production and no microphones.

@@golden-63 You're right ... for now... She is not yet an opera singer, not officially anyway ... She is still too young to be. Laura performed mostly opera arias and classical gospel. her pop performances were fewer. I really hope that Laura will focus on opera. Of all the young candidates who have played opera at talent shows, Laura is the only one who has the vocal characteristics to perform the real pure opera/ real opera.

Not only beautiful, this was phenomenal. 🎶💖 What I find fantastic is that Laura performed this entire concert without even knowing the vocal techniques used in heavy classical music (opera). This is the unbelievable truth. Laura is natural and unique !
