This turned into much more of a project than I thought it was gonna be...as everything seems to be with the recent projects. First I cleared what I needed to from the side of the night club and my arch nemesis finally came down to be rebuilt into something, hopefully, a little more robust. Then I worked on getting the base ballast done, which is very time consuming if you have never done it. Luckily I have all my greys sorted out so I just grab my grey plate treys and go to work on it. I don't have all the track pieces yet, but I do ballast all the track that I currently have. And then I hit the road block... or in this case, the wall. I had built the Orient Express cars just to make sure I can fit them into my city and the front side tunnel just clipped the side of the car... and so I had to completely redo that section of wall which was actually very tricky because of all the MILS plate connections that happen right there as well. Ultimately, I think I will revisit the forward facing wall at another time, it works and serves its purpose, but its a little bland for such a large structure. The other tunnels went together fairly easily compared to restructuring the wall and I'm content with how they turned out. You hopefully won't notice them too much once all the rest of the area is filled in with all the details and trees. Lots of trees.

My biggest continual project is my city. The city is currently about 112 baseplates and always in constant evolution. When I started out with the city it was 21 baseplates and I never imagined when I started it would grow to this size. My collection has quickly overtaken my office that I now call the Lego Room.
