Legends say that there is a mystic Garden sometimes randomly appearing in our reality. Once you get here, you feel nothing but calmness and safety, like this is your old home. If you begin to trust this place and fall asleep, you may find yourself marching in the middle of an ice blizzard among the army of madmen. You will be guessing if the Garden and your past life were just another strange dream of an exhausted soldier. Or was it real? In any case, it will be your last good memory as the Garden about to rise.

The river adjacency is a +2 to every district. This is a freackin big advantage, even more in a map without mountain. It isn't a surprise for them to have tanks while Hongria still uses bombards.

the green empire was totally annihilated by that 2 blizzards. most of its infrastructure was blown and the cities have to repair those districts with no production into units. Legendary comeback from the Dutch.

naa the dutch actually played pretty well (suprising considering the AI is usually idiotic). Their pushes were well timed, only attacking when they had enough troops (e.g. early game swordsman rush after terracotta army promotions). Hungary initially had the advantage in terms of army, but the dutch turtled up and played defensively with pike and shots against the hungary unique cavalry unit. Then they built up infantry and tank armies and totally destroyed hungary. Even without natural distaters hungary would've gotten crushed.

@@eyeborg3148 Actually the hungarians didn't had the opportunity to use their best ability (because the lack of city states), and the hurricanes set him back a lot. It damaged his districts including campuses, that's why he had hussars, while netherlands got tanks.

I think it's also because they get the science bonus from rivers. They got to more advanced units fasters.

The addition of the loser screen at 3:48 is a small but excellent touch. I would recommend taking away the in game subtitles, in favor of your own so that the quote is more readable.

was all but certain orange would win around a minute in. the early agression really played out towards out teching his opponent. Looked bad for him right before infantry and tanks but be bounced back with superior troops and refreshed income looks like.
