I believe that artificial intelligence will destroy humanity someday but before that, I wanna watch how it fight and destroy itself. If you like A.I. battles, timelapses, experiments and epic music you may find this channel quite interesting.
I know these videos are kinda old now but are espionage in the game at all? I feel bad if not since its integral to the game and makes England's spyware pretty good. I would love to see one of this end with a culture victory or science victory or even a game with city states or just one city state in the middle
This is what I love about Civ 5. Even though nations like Brazil are obviously geared towards a cultural victory, you can still adapt and earn a domination victory if culture and diplomacy fails.
the appearance of cavalry or musketmen is a sign of " okayyy time to be a lot more serious in defense or offense now" its a literal switch that makes everyone immediately become aggressive like a frenzy spell in skyrim more so if someone gets musketmen before some even get crossbows, man at arms are a " hey you better hope you researched atleast archery or say goodbye to outer cities" and finally artillery is a straight up "either have a decent standing army able to launch counter offensive or lose game"
Top Tip, sacrifice some exploration and just kidnap every single settler and worker with a scout or two. The AI will eventually make a warrior to get them out safely but that's usually by like Turn 50-70 so you have ample time to set up while they're effectively on turn 10 with no cities, military, or improvements
I love how Spain just... stopped teching after a while. They weren't the only ones to clearly become unable to afford recarch costs, but it's just like.... they were the most most agredigous. How?
