So in short; Remove the cargo liner, remove the two screws holding the assembly, remove the transmission, remove the driver's side halfaxle, remove the differential, remove the engine, remove the car, and remove the bulb. Easy! jkjk. Cool video man! I'm surprised it was that easy on the Civic. I once tried changing a headlight bulb on a CR-V and my hands were just too big.. People were recommending things like taking the bumper off. (and they were serious). Fortunately I had a friend with much smaller hands.
Came here to make sure whst I was trying to do was accurate. Thank you, i was having trouble snapping the little pieces off and i didnt wanna break them..i will use more force 😆
It is absolutely ridiculous how much people try to charge to change something that can take 5 minutes. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I was able to install this myself. It is not hard. When the mechanic told me they charge $50 to replace this I'm sitting here thinking I know something like this doesn't take that long to replace. Look this up and I was able to do it
Excellent video! I have a weird behavior. The left rear red light does not turn on when pushing the brake pedal but the central optional and the right rear light turn on properly. I thought that the left light was broken, but if I turn the front lights on while driving during the night the left rear light turns on again only in that situation! What is this? (Same car as you)
