It only does because the AWD has a 20% drivetrain loss. If the WRX was FWD it would have walked it. Without mods these cars are slow in straight lines. Most any FWD with similar power will walk it because of the AWD drivetrain loss.
@@Dimelowcrew the WRX is absolutely one of the most fun cars to drive. The Si is fun until the glass clutch goes. But.. my fiesta ST takes the win for the most fun car I’ve ever had.
I know for a fact a stock wrx cannot compete with us. I raced another one recently and he told me he only had muffler delete. We all know muffler delete does not add any power to the car.
I have a short of a random silver WRX, don’t know if it was stock or modded, but I gapped him pretty bad with 6 people in my car 😂 I also started in 3rd and him in 2nd
@@Dimelowcrew Yeah I will never believe a muffler delete will make a WRX as fast as what we are. We are faster than a 370z and the type R. Let alone being able to hold with a stock 5.0 and 392 scat.
