Hello Sir, this may be some sort of out of topic question. In civil 3d, the level of design profile acts as the level of top of finished ground( top of pavement). Is there a way such that the level of design profile can be set as the top of cut or fill?

You mean in plan view -2,+3 cut/fill show or profile design level show in plan view. A/c to you this level or cut / fill along with alignment?

@@CivilSurvey in cross section, the RL of top of pavement matches with the RL of Design profile. I want the RL of Design profile to be the RL of subgrade( the surface level after cutting and filling) not the RL of pavement( asphalt concrete mostly). is there a way to do so?
