Sun is great ...but this writer has a particular slant. just reading between the lines, he defends journalists but there is a huge problem with the press. Just watch MSNBC, it's depressing. CBC is little better. The Guardian is an ideological mess. So I don't hold out much hope for the film with journalists acting as the protagonists.
I'm a California man. Texas AND Virginia maybe but NOT California. TX and CA are like oil and water. Nearly impossible to combust together in most imaginable ways.
I've actually watched this film. It's not great but it's not terrible. The movie is about observations being made during a new American civil war. People crying about the plot appear to have gotten their views from reviewers who were unable to discern basic plot points for themselves and took fictional propaganda from the movie to minimalize factions as being the actual plot of the movie despite actual events that transpire in the film that are directly contrary to all of that- in fact, this aspect of the film is the most political part of it, which is kind of the point of the film about a civil war, but people are just going to see what they want to see anyway.
