while this movie looks really good, it's clear they kind of punted on being very realistic because they wanted both side to watch the movie. if it was clear that this was a Red Vs. Blue situation, then they would have to figure out who the "good side" was for the sake of the story. this is actually a pretty good move on their part because now the movie won't be seen as much through the prism of real-world politics.

@@BrianVincent_ Here's my take: A civil war irl would be devastating for both sides, but given the support for Democrats is dwindling it's probably imminent. It's not gonna be "oh hey look big battles!" it's gonna be more like a mix of many different Wacos all over, with a bit of the Bush Wars and Afghanistan mixed in.
