I am from the Netherlands, Europe. Those toy Markx sets never were here for sale. It was Britains, Timpo and Airfix toysoldiers. Hardly civil war figures. I guess in those days factory's and shops did consider the local history as valid for producing kid's soldiers. So we had knights of the round table, Romans and Greeks, WW2 soldiers and yes, cowboys and indians. From movies and TV series ofcourse. I am amazed that Markx made a huge quantity of playsets, to get this on the market. The only Markx I got, I know for now, is those big size indians and cowboys. I had 2 indians. A friend of me had 10 of those big cowboys. What I remember from the time as a kid of 11 years old, the details of those figures and the face expressions. They were really good! Thanks for posting!
Thank you for sharing about what was available to you when you were younger. Britain's, Timpo, Airfix were much better than what we had, but when we were kids, we didn't know anything else. Thank you again for sharing with us!
We filter out anything that made us upset/angry /humiliated, etc and retain positive thoughts and feelings. For guys like us it often involves hours and hours of play time in the dirt. Wonderful, blissful time unworried by school, work or bills!
Hurray, your OK, did you get my other messages. I was worried something happened to you. I hope you don't mind me messaging you. It's been a while, but I understand if you were busy, glad to see your safe and well!!!! BTW, I didn't win the euro jackpot yet!!!!
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 Thank you for exposing me to Marx Toys. Sculped they look somehow more Alive than the things they scpult in Computers.
It sounds like your collection is rapidly expanding! From what you said before the shipping must truly be astronomical! If I order from Canada it is crazy like that too...very costly mail to U.S.
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 well yes, I paid $90 plus postage and packaging. But I want those figures, I'm expecting another pricey HM revenue and customs bill. BTW I always really enjoy your videos, it looks like you have some really nice soldiers in your collection. I just need to get the white pack then I'll have all the colours. I even have the pink army men too!!!!
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 I only have a part time job and I get paid peanuts. But I'm careful not to spend all my money, but it usually takes me a few weeks to be able to afford my splurges. I spent $148.83/ £117.01 today. The BMC guy must love me!!!! I've spent nearly $900 over the past 4 years on his company, but damn, I like my soldiers!!!!
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 Yes, that's a good idea. I will have to be wary of those pesky Russians even though I have some in my collection. It's thanks to this video that I'm going to get these civil war soldiers in my next BMC splurge!!!! I have all sorts, from all different countries and periods of history. I apologise for a late reply as my phone won't let me comment on your channel. I'm now using the laptop to comment! Historical figurines are just my thing, as I don't smoke or abuse alcohol, I can afford my little hobbies. I also collect flags. I'm getting all 7 central American flags in my next purchase, when I have the money that is!!!!
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 I'm just in the process of buying these now, just need to get a few technical details sorted with BMC as I have a new card!!!!
