The recording has been done by myself, took ages to do this... The translation is based on the knowledge of Native Speaker and dictionary, there are some missing translation though, I hope someone can help me to translate. Enjoy!
genghis khan once setteld near some iron i wanted and even though we were allies i declared war on him for that and got my iron back via capturing his city. I was happy.
I miss those sceneries in Civ VI... I love how thay did the rooms for each leaders, so detailed. It invited us to some travel... And I miss it in Civ VI :(
"Accept this agreement or suffer the consequences!" *looks at offers and demands and sees accept embassy* Lmao do you need to say "suffer the consequences", Montezuma? I mean, seriously? You want an embassy.
Other translated rade requests from leaders (I used wiki fandom) Nebuchadnezzar II: "It appears that you do have a reason for existing - to make this deal with me." Haile Selassie: "This situation, you better think as I believe for both our people, it is very important and useful." Gajah Mada: "What if we make a deal, you and me?" Pacal: "Friend, I believe I may have found a way to save us all! Look, look and accept my offering! OR The rage of the Gods be upon you, lest you heed my offer."
Early Embassy swapping helps me so much sometimes, for instance: 4:37 See, when he's Friendly, I get EXTREMELY worried, get lots of trades going, get my gold up, and build up my military as fast as I bloody can. When he's neutral, I sigh relief and go on about my business. 6:35 When he gets to friendly, I feel accomplished for having such an impressive military and accept any and every DoF he throws at me. 9:23 "Gustavus Adolphus has completed Statue Of Zeus!" 9:53 Wait very soon for a coop war request from him with my closest fucking neighbor. Also "Shaka has denounced an Unmet player!"
Moctezuma: Accept this agreement or SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. Gandhi: I am so sorry feathered friend, I cannot accept. *Moctezuma declares war* I think you know what happens next.
What I hear: Babylon: "[Something something] Gadeem! (Deez nuts?) Celtic approval line = "Bitch sure" It's really nice how these little voice lines show the character's personality/manners and their civilization's style. From respectful polite Samurai, to mercantile Dutchmen, demanding arrogant god-kings, warrior-culture Celts and openly threating Aztecs.
At Süleyman the Magnificent sequence, the English translations are inaccurate, except "Very Good". Here's a better translation: *Come on, let's make a bargain. Would you enjoy it?*
“Friend, I believe I may have found a way to save us all! Look, look and accept my offering! OR The rage of the Gods be upon you, lest you heed my offer.” -Pacal
Even though I haven't played the game yet (I opted Civ 5 over Civ 6 based on my research on this series), these leader interactions are so engaging that I get to be really immersed into the game! I honestly can't wait to play the game in my absolute free time! I honest felt like talking to actual people... than, as people have said it, "talking to cartoons" with this entry, really.
Nebuchadnezzar II - 1:13 Boudicca - 2:07 Elizabeth - 3:15 Napoleon - 3:47 Bismarck - 4:00 Attila - 4:27 Gajah Mada - 5:12 Oda Nobunaga - 5:36 Sejong - 5:51 Ahmad al-Mansur - 6:39 Casmir III - 7:19 Kamehameha - 7:30 Catherine - 8:07 Ramkhamhaeng - 8:33 Gustavus Adolphus - 9:16 Enrico Dandolo - 9:32 Shaka - 9:46 Just some personal timestamps for my favorites
Catherine: How would you like it if I propose this kind of exchange? Me: what type of exchange Gurl? ;) Also Elizabeth: WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN A TRADE AGREEMENT IN ENGLAND. Me: HELL NAHH-- (Gets colonized)
Honestly these animations are a lot better than what we got in Civ6. Much more personality and uniqueness. (Except for spain. She sounds worse than Siri.)
sparkreno19 Aside from the fact Hitler isn't actually German, I think it's fair to say that if a country has a hostile takeover, it ought not be rrepresented by the people who performed it.
it wasn't a hostile takeover, Hitler was elected democratically as chancellor of Germany in 1933. Through seduction, and the fact that the current government wasn't getting anywhere to alleviate the extreme depression that was hitting Germay at the time, the nationalist socialist party gained more and more seats in parliament in the 20s and eventually it culminated into Hitler being elected. That was the excuse that the high ranking nazis after the war said to the world: that the people of Germay 'gave them the right' to do whatever to 'get out of their depression and make Germay great again, and for awhile (the 30s) that seemed to be the case. Little did the Germans know that they were ultimately headed for war on the whim of a crazed but powerfully seductive and influential man. I really don't get why people hide under the moniker 'oh Hitler wasn't even German', well, he was elected by Germans to be their leader, so I feel that argument is irrelevant. It's like saying Schwarzenegger isn't American even though he's spent most of his life in America and was governor of California and elected by Americans.
sparkreno19 Not yet, never. You cannot put someone in a game who commited the worst crimes in human history. No one compares. And if you say Stalin or Mao now... then please, learn history.
sparkreno19 lmfao "atrocities of the Spanish Inquisition", even the French Revolution executed way more people in a few years than the Inquisition during centuries, the propaganda they say about the Inquistion killing lots of people is just Black Legend
Ah, Alexander. How come you always are the first civ i completely annex when you are in my games? Oh yeah, BECAUSE YOU SPREAD YOUR CITIES SO MUCH I CAN BARELY HAVE MY FUCKING CAPITAL TO MYSELF!
Oooh,Okay let me just predict what'll happen once I lower my screen. The first comment I see will be "WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN A TRADE AGREEMEMT WITH ENGLAND", I know it.
