Because CJ banged his niece. She was like 12 when he first met her and he was well into his 20s from what I remember. I'd be pissed too...

He is just a badass.

CJ is the only Ramone we have left that is keeping the legacy alive in a cool and normal down-to-earth way, just as we fans deserve it.. for all of you outthere claiming he was just a hired bassist, he gave us the fans some more years of Ramones.. DeeDee was incredible, a true legend, but he had to go and chase out his demons.. CJ did a great job replacing him.. and he is still, even up til now in 2019, an example of love and unity for we, the fans.. unfortunately we lost our darling Joey, Mr. Rockstar Johnny, what a fucking absolutely amazing true rockstar he was.. respect!!! Tommy I never could identify with.. too young by then me.. best line-up was joey johnny deedee and richy.. but with Mark back in the band he did good.. he became an annoying wanna-be rock star.. but at least he nailed the drumming again.. too bad of the terrible ego.. richie remained kinda cool and descent after he left, but is now also making a grotesque humiliation of himself, the once really cool richie ramone.. the worst thing is marc bell, who was so lucky to have a second canche as marky ramone, and did it rather well, no doubt..but the way he became a never-seen-before sell-out after the disbanding and especially after the passing of our joey, johnny and DeeDee.? The only good thing when you look at marc bell in retrospect that he has made nice videos so we fans can be part of it.. but it's sad to see him performing on parking-lots of malls and other goofy places like metroststation.. cj is way more fun when it comes to the legacy than marc 'sellout' bell... anyway just my point of view..

CJ shows enough respect to DeeDee and Joey.. and even Richie and Marc Bell too.. however Marc Bell did not write 1 important song for the Ramones.. Richie at least gave us somebody put something in my drink.. and Johnny was just the rockstar.. did not need to write.. just being on stage doing his incredibly cool thing.. keeping them together...

But he actually sings on some Ramones albums, legit enough for me.

Ive seen CJ 3 times in the last couple of years and it is one hell of a show. I am 56 and my son said he had never seen me have so much fun.

Marc Bell just should keep very low profile... CJ is more of Ramone than sell*out Marc Marc..
