Even though CJ had difficult experiences with his father, I'm glad he had other supporters like his mom who were really looking out for him. I'm so glad he was able to get to where he is today as he could have easily turned to the same life his father did. Hopefully he can make the much needed difference for the Texans because we all know they definitely need it.

His father was his best friend as he described his experiences with his father. He did not have difficult experiences with his father. He had difficult experiences as a result of a bad decision his father made because of an addiction problem. CJ was mad at his for making a poor decision that caused he the father to be taken away from the family. However, the father had instilled good principles of discipline and work ethics in CJ when he was a young kid. Thus when the father was sent away to prison, CJ's mother Kimberly was not dealing with an overly rebellious young man. And, with God's guidance and wisdom, she provided him the proper support cast of personnel. Unfortunately, CJ's dad is not eligible for parol until 16 years from now, so, he will not get to be at any of CJ's NFL game in person, to see the son whom he coached at a young age. May God have mercy on CJ's father as he do the time for the crime he committed and that he CJ has forgiven his dad. God blessing to you all.

I loved hearing cj story you can tell football is a huge stress relief and genuine passion of cj I hope he still has some communication with his father as it seems cj father was a huge positive impact on his career I hope to see more games with him in the future

Sad to hear that CJ had to struggle a lot in his earlier life, but I think it's a good thing that he's recovering and becoming a better person and playing his sport! Would love to see him on the field later.

CJ has greatly benefited our city. After less than six months here, he has already volunteered his time to feed the underprivileged and FaceTimed people who purchased his jersey from fans last weekend. It is fantastic to see CJ Stroud leading the Texans in his rookie season after overcoming the difficulties he faced with his father's illness. He will undoubtedly become well-known in the next years due to his talent.

CJ has been great for our city. He’s been here least than 6 months and has already been out in the community giving out food to the needy and just last weekend FaceTimed folks who bought his jersey off Fanatics, just to thank them for the support.

This guy is calm, cool and collected. We selected him in our Dynasty draft, taking him over Bryce Young. Yeah, that's looking pretty good right now. Hopefully, CJ Stroud will take the Texans even further in the playoffs.
