This kid is so impressive. How many times do we listen to players deliver the same old tired lines? He came with fresh(ish) takes and delivery. super laid back, he exudes a quiet confidence that is so impressive. Got so much time for him and his play. And he’s only just started 😮. Exciting times.

Still pinching ourselves down here in HTown wondering if this is really our team. We are slowly coming out of the fog of despair caused by the prior few years. DeMeco and this wonderful young man are going to lead us back to NRG and we will once again be the loudest stadium in the NFL. Watching CJ's aggressive ball play and DeMeco's defensive SWARM has been something we just don't see here. We love it! I will have to admit I was jumping up and down when CJ stood up to Singleton. I think I replayed that 100 times. Thank you Pat & the gang for featuring CJ a few times on your show. And giving us a bit of a thrill at the thought of JJ coming home - we will take him any way we can - player, coach, visitor, whatever as long as he comes home to spend time with the city. Before the draft, CJ told his distracters "Watch this" and he's got them all watching.

This kid is a young guy with an old man’s soul. He has integrity, positive but at the same time….. not a doormat. I really think he is centered in Jesus Christ which is the biggest positive in his life. He was raised right and has had good people around him coaching and mentoring. I was a Texans season ticket holder for years until I walked away when Billy butthead O’Brien dismantled our best players. Sat through playoffs when the first play determined we lost, so many seasons getting a little joy out of a few players like Andre Johnson (my favorite Texan of all time), JJ watt showed what players can do to help a city and many more. But felt defeat at the end of season. My heart is still with the Texans. I’m so happy for the team. I’ve since moved out of Texas or else I’d be right back in my seats. CJ just showed a maturity I’m not sure I ever had even today. He puts his head down does what he can do to work on his craft and positively supports his teammates. I’m sure the great players we’ve had in past, like mentioned above, and others like Cushing, Jonathan Joseph, demeco Ryan 😮and others wished they were all together now. But it seems like this entire rookie class on the Texans have something real special going on. I just wish I was there. I wouldn’t get CJ’s jersey though. I swear every time I get a player’s jersey….they leave or get traded… so I put my last name on it…. And I got divorced ha! (Happily) Chad Pennington (jets), Andre Johnson, Case Keenum, etc. I should’ve gotten Brock O 😂

I have never been as impressed with a rookie,QB,NFL player, or human being as I am after CJ Stroud’s interview. Unless the Texans play my insanely frustrating atl falcons, I will always be rooting for this man’s team and success

What’s crazy is he is a Texans legend already. If he never threw another pass, what he’s done already is legendary. Granted it would be a huge disappointment for that potential to be wasted, but the partial one season he’s played is truly legendary to this point.
