Fabbing up a CB antenna mount for a Jeep CJ7 using the existing spare tire bump stop.
I used 1/8" bar stock cut to the shape of the bump stop. I then cut a 1/2" hole and welded the plate to the top. Grinded, cerakoted then mounted it back up.
Remember that your antenna will use this to ground so you need to clear to bare metal sections of the mount attaching bolts along with corresponding areas of the mount.
