He is a nepotist dynast.. saving the other infamous Italian dynasty.. talking about judges not making money.. this is today the most corrupt, incompetent, opaque system.. they only give delayed judgements but no justice!!

@@jeevankunwar5667 Government is not supreme authority, it have its limitations. Government class to provide justice to particular people, but constitution is for all. There is no government in the world which have 100% of vote share, if it so then definitely there is no question of introspection, but if in case the vote share is divided between 2-3 classes then obviously there will Be a class who Benefited and suffered, here judiciary is to atleast to limit the suppression than curbing

@@Dk-uh4no Well, you know what the thing is, yes he followed his father's path, not because he was a dynast but because he had the caliber, the skillset and was the perfect candatiture for the CJI, he's graduated from the Harvard law school, which is in itself a great start, the add his human values, he is simply great. So it clearly justifies his position. Stop spreading such hate brother. Thanks

Q. How would you wish the country remember you mr.justice. A. No doubt Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud will surely be remembered as with same respect and gratitude as his father who gave the citizens PIL.
It's so refreshing seeing CJI bringing the notes to answer questions, just to make sure he does not get anything wrong. People these days just lie about figures and audiance just accepts in that moment. It's very nice he cares about the precision of the answer. But again, law is about precisely stated facts.😊

Personally i only feel safe on thinking about the Supreme Court and the indian army 😢 in our country everything else has the potential to kill us off for their own personal gains. Hats off to such Fearless CJIs ❤❤❤
A suave, erudite gentleman. Its always a treat to listen to him. He has brought back respect for the judiciary, just as Seshan had earned respect for EC. He is also a devout Hindu, a Maharashtrian Brahman. Proud of him.
Dear Honorable CJI, thank you for your logical analysis and shouldering this huge responsibility. People outsmarted the legal system, please keep your eyes and ears open for what innocent people including young adults are going through and criminals flying under the radar. NRI Criminals who has connections across the countries are torturing people and using young adults for crime even more.
We are blessed to have such people in our country our society that keeps us motivated and going on. Even a person with no values too values good things only
I feel only Judges & Lawyers can save the Country though our Judiciary. Kindly save the Country from fake certificate holders. India needs Educates and more honest people like you.
He's really good. I don't care that he became CJI even though his father was one (unconfirmed allegations of nepotism by some). In my books, any good judge (nepotism or not) is 100 times better than a bad judge (Ranjan Gogoi for example) who came up the judicial ladder through his/ her merit.
Wow❤ Honourable CJI Our top judiciary is certainly in a much safer hand, you being a CJI. I definitely feel much safer & have more faith in our Judiciary after listening to you. Continue to protect & uphold our constitution. Honourable CJI you are very intelligent, kind and honest person. Things I learned from you 1) Nothing is too small & nothing is too big cases in the court. 2) Young & bright lawyers if they want good judgements in the future then they should consider to become a Judge. 3) Hearing a small cases you give justice to an individual & hearing a constitutional matters gives a nation a direction to move forward(may not be an exact words).
DYC gave a thinner than air answer for the holidays question, if u look at UK, Aus, USA, Singapore etc, there the situation is different, the population is less, people are not filing as many cases/RTI as in india, so i believe the judges must sit for at least 250/260 days minimum!
Regarding the leave CJI should consider the poppulation and number of cases in front of the different court across the Globe, at lease one can easily say UK is much smaller than us if they sits as same as India then We have sit multiple times to that singapore far more smaller than us........Lot of respect to CJI yet llot many things has to be done to improve jusdiciary system, there should be target date to dispose the case , Judgements should be made based on datas available within target date. if necessary three shift operation should be implemented Justice to the people are more important...........Cases like electoral bond if takes such a long time then before the judgement lot many damages would have been done already
