Hahah I don't remember seeing anyone in an Indian hat, I was drunk. But I was the tall guy in the grey t-shirt moshing around in front of CIG and Deron. I had my phone up half the time snapping pictures.
Come on, his vocals on this one are great, i get the point that it kinda kills the the original vibe, but his performance here adds up so much drive and raw power to it
The people that complain must be deaf, the studio track has high vocals like here mixed with lower pitched vocals. In fact much of the first album is like that. Deron is great with harmonies, and it fits perfectly with his love for a good octave pedal.
Great band but I think Deron's voice sounds a lot better on album. Nothing against the guy but when I heard them live for the first tim in Virginia Beach back in 2007 I thought it sounded like his balls hadn't dropped. Anyone else agree or am I just too picky. I mean, everything else sounds great but like for example, when they sing Escape from Hellview live it just doesn't feel the same when he says, "So we're hours awake" you know. And you got to love the Whitney Houston haha. Thumbs up
This show was absolutely great... but the one thing, the ONLY thing that is driving me crazy about it is the fact that they like announce the names of each song before they break into it.. ill prob get some thumbs down but thats my rant. love this song. very nostalgic
i really like these guys on album, but the vocals are pretty bad live. I can't believe they used this performance for a DVD... it actually sounds like a mediocre cover band
