CL500 Windows down blast & Cafe con leche vs Cafe au lait..?

Hi There, the CLs are super cheap, as you say - especially in comparison to what they cost new, or what you get in terms of a nice car with a good spec for the price compared to spending 15k on a newish eurobox or whatever... having said that - and I think I'll do a video about this - you have to weigh up the overall lifetime costs. So, if you are prepared to write off 200-300 per month on running a car, then factor in the amount you have to pay to buy a CL, how long you are likely to keep it and what it might cost to run, then in my opinion, it's still a worthwhile car to own. I would rather have fun behind the wheel driving my CL around than a new Kia for example - despite the fact that the new cars all have the latest tekkers (bluetooth, folding mirrors etc etc)... so, you pays your money and takes your choice! As for finding one, take a while to compare what's around and don't be worried about traveling to find a decent one. It's better to waste a week and 50 quid on fuel than buy one because it's convenient and then spend a grand in unseen repairs. You can almost forget service history to some degree too - just pay attention to the current condition and see what might be looming. It's worth getting a mechanic to do an inspection. Much as I love mine, I wish I had spent more time looking at others car, although living in Spain didn't help! Anyway, reliability-wise, they seem pretty solid just be prepared for electronics gremlins and whether you wanna fix them or live with them! Sorry for the super long answer and good luck. Mercedes CL500 W215 VLOG Thanks for the reply, I spent my morning yesterday looking at couple of CLS500’s as missed out on the CL i has planned to view, I did like the 5.5 v8 you could certainly feel the extra BHP compared to the 5.0. Shall have to see if I can view find a c couple CL’s to view next weekend.

Mercedes CL500 W215 VLOG well been a while sense Iv seen your videos. Shall watch a few of the new ones in the next couple of days. Well update from my end. I never got round to buying a CL, I ended up with a 650i instead. Had that about 9 mounted, until I changed jobs and needed a dirty diesel. Still missing a my V8 so considering one as a second car. So Iam looking at CL’s again, I must be mad.
