cutting it when it is laid down like that is a job you would like to walk away from, but you can not it has to get done just take your time and hope the next field is not like it. job well done boy's. stay safe
Been in flat wheat like that before and it sucks! flat corn is worse though, just the stalks and all float inside the head and the fluff piles up and you have to get out constantly to pull it into the throat.
Top
Can't help but think if the driver put his reel slightly further forward and speeded it up a touch.... He could flick the crop on to the crop lifters and by doing so could go a bit quicker... I've done it myself and it works..
⭐🌟Bonjour ! hello⭐🌟Great video. Good music too! 🍷🍇 Greetings from the country where we make Champagne, in France. The country, I present 🍾🍷🍇
That's what separates combine operators to combine drivers..... any muppet can cut standing wheat..... that field separates the men from the boys..... sadly you need many yrs of experience to be able to do it properly
If ever have a situation where crop does not wat to feed---corn or wheat--Take a sharp chisel an every 8 inched give chisel a big swat on leading edge with point made facing crop an that will pull in crop .I have done it many times ffrom days of tall slippy pennol wheat using a big 12 foot Case sp12 combine! Combine weighe 7500 lbs.
Bye Hans.
