Clacton on Sea is a beach town off the east coast of Essex, England. Situated only 1 hour and 20 mins from London, its easily accessible and makes a perfect day trip. Unlike many other pebble beaches in England, Clacton is relatively sandy with long stretches. There are loads of entertainment in the 400 meter long pier with many rides, indoor video games, go carting, water splash, adventure golf and a bowling alley. Great options for food
