The seagull riding was hilarious 😂 Also, I just wanna say that to see you being invited to officially open new rides is amazing and very well deserved for all you do for the UK Amusement Industry! 😊
I got really emotional when you opened the ride, so lovely, then cried with laughter at you two riding the waltzer with Sid the seagull! 🤣 When you said it's the highlight of my career that finished me off! Not sure whether I was crying with emotion or laughter! 😂❤️ Brilliant! Xx
Omg shawn that is the best vlog i have ever watched on RU-vid that is my favourite video this year from you i can't even describe it ❤ Edit omg why I am I getting so many likes
Shawn and Charlotte, That Jurassic Show was amazing and the park does things so well, it's a gem for everyone. I am so glad they honored Theme Park Worldwide with the passes, you both are so positive and fun, Cheers, Rik
a colleague (now retired) grew loads of different succulent plants (including cactuses) and would show us one at each virtual coffee break....was great :)
Great vlog! I was working as a lifeguard on both days of the airshow, it was super busy so glad you got to experience the atmosphere of it all! Only thing you missed was the night flights, there's helicopters and planes shooting fireworks out - pretty epic to see! Either way, great to see you back in clacton!
Great content as always. When you mentioned the looping star. I thought it was the one from margate- bembom brothers. Hence my first ever roller coaster. Would love to ride that again. 😀
Went to Clacton Pier today, those Waltzers are mega!! Walking up tho I just had images of Shawn cutting that ribbon then having the ride with the Charlotte & the seagull
That was such a brilliant vlog was smiling throughout to open a ride then ride it with the park mascot is a rarity so funny the Jurrasic Pier took me by surprise looked so impressive for a seaside amusement park the fireworks were fantastic and themed to the war loved the narration and specially selected music never been before but looks so underrated would love to visit there one day
Whenever im planning to visit a theme park or other in the UK, i always preview it on your channel first because i know that chances are, youve been there 😂 you guys are the best 👍
The Looping Star was my first ever roller coaster, at Butlins in Ayr back in the late 80s-early 90s... Don't know if it's the exact same ride because the trains look different but it's the exact same layout... ... It was the coaster that started it all for me... Thanks for the memories!!!
Opening a ride, then riding it next to a seagull, and then to see the red arrows flying past later on. Thats a pretty classic day out! 👍👍 Have a brilliant , and safe trip out in the USA 🇺🇸
What a great park !! Made your day sharing a ride with 2 Birds !! Lol. Double level Go Karts, like you say, very similar to the ones in Orlando Fun parks and better with wooden flooring and over taking allowed. Done the ones in Funspot Orlando 3 or 4 courses but concrete flooring and bit restricted on Speed. Looked great here.
went back to clacton pier for 3 days just got back as of typing this. and man, i forgot how addicting those gokarts were. roller coaster was very rough. and that turn after the loop is a shoulder/head basher
This Log Flume has a fantastic layout that looks similar to the one at West Midlands Safari park and I saw one at Barry Island that looked like that when I went there
this Log Fiume has a fantastic story at West Midlands safari park and l saw one at Barry island 🏝️ last year when you visited it was amazing 🤩 and outstanding views of honeymoon
Hi shawn and Charlotte what a great vlog loved seeing you open the Waltzer 🎉🎉 brilliant. You both on the waltzer with sid the seagull 😀😀😀. Thankyou for a great vlog you do us so proud. Thankyou love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Shawn .Those three planes were .The Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight. Spitfire, Lancaster and Hurricane. I'm sure you know. Would have been nice to see more filming of them though..👍
Most excellent video - another place to visit - love Sidney the Seagull and my favorite ride going there would be Jurassic 4d Cinema followed by Water Splash, Go-karts and the Dodgems.
Great vlog. I've been visiting this pier since the 1970s, even, and never realised it would once again become as good as it is today. The animatronics on Jurassic Pier are fantastic. Being completely honest, I'd prefer it if it was just a walkthrough, with more herbivores such as stegosaurus and triceratops. Can't wait to see what they do next. Hopefully one day there'll be a great coaster on the pier. Imagine if they got someone like Gerstlauer to make a modern version of the Steel Stella!
Amazing how Clacton has a lot of rides that Southend hasnt got. I was considering a day to Clacton from Southend this last (8th September 2024) but never got round to it!
Another nice vlog from you both, really enjoyed and always 100% look forward to the next. Nice short shots of the RAF Red Arrows, they were down Folkestone last weekend, aswell Eastbourne, didn't go to display, but hoping to attend next year or sometime again in the future? Loved the look of the new indoor dinosaur themed attraction, looks like a lot of fun and sad that Aquarium has been removed as it was an ok attraction, could of added more to it, but I guess with it no longer there, its what it is at the end of the day. Nice fun game of adventure golf, both myself and my friend had a competition at Southend on Sea - Adventure Golf last year which was an fun experience. Need to edit and upload it at some point as filmed on Go Pro for that aswell including same in Hastings when down there. Good job at opening Waltzers, love them, rode one at Bluewater in Kent while at Winter Wonderland last year, was wild and really pushed it riders back massively into seat, but worth the thrilling experience. Nice video, vlog as always, cheers again and look forward to the next. 😀👍
cant believe how downhill clacton has gone as a child i allways had 2places i enjoyed going clacton and southend but mainly clacton because i felt it had a bigger selection of rides to choose from but looking at clacton now and how much it has declined southend would be my first choice so much more at southend much more thrill rides and much more family friendly
