I have followed you for a couple of years now. I know you are good operator but what impresses me is your mechanic skills. You take things apart and fix them so easily. Repair that 4 wheeler/ tractor. I would love to see that.

Hey Mike, have an idea for Hunter's new vehicle. Since it needs an engine, Buy a new John Deere tractor to replace your 955. Sell the 955 to Captain, buy his 755 and use the engine in Hunter's new vehicle. Add a hitch to the back end and let him use it to water the race track! Hopefully, I have the JD Numbers correct!

In his defense, none of the glass block pallets are stacked correctly. You have 2 options a prymids stack Or a sheet of plywood between each layer to tie each layer together. One is a running bond pattern the other relays on full support of each layer independently. The pallet that fell apart was a broken pallet to start with. And it was over loaded.
Put up a few led lights . I put them in my garage and it’s unbelievably lighter. Screw right in to the socket so no wiring needed. Huge difference ..less electricity
I agree that Mike that there shouldn't be a K10 in the building, it needs to be a K20, or better yet a K30 crew cab, he needs something to replace Lt. Dan

You guys should look at high bay LED bulbs for the barns they cast more light and cost less to run, You want a Kelvin 3600 daylight bulb with as high a luminescent as you can get this are large spaces and the big lamps will help you all year round 24/7 I would also do outdoor LED security lights. Same deal. I don't know about where your at but here someone would break in and take stuff, now you've put it online people know whats in the barns unguarded they might take.
Loved this video, to see you and Aaron actually working on this property and getting things set up and moved in. Was a bit worried about seeing the little donkey limping around a bit, concerned. Gunner is gonna love that semi atv. gonna be a nice video on fixing this up for him, maybe get him involved as well since it's gonna be his. That ground after all that rain is a muddy mess. Love Aaron's comment on Mike's Pepsi can, just sitting there outside the loader. The Stone looks so much better on the floor of the one garage with the lean to. I think i still would have used the big loader to bring in the majority of the gravel and then came back and used the little loader tractor and the mini ex to do the finishing touches

Absolutely want to see the all terrain tractor vehicle build with Gunner. Maybe you could have Aaron teach him some welding and torch techniques? Any plans to insulate the new maintenance shed? Maybe the Captain can earn some machine time by putting in some foam boards and solar panels? Still love watching you guys work together. Thanks for making these videos.
I could see Gunner workin on the “BLUE BOMBER” with dad’s help, be a good thing to practice wrenchen on, be a fun little project to start with. Nice job of cleaning up and organizing. I have an 855 John Deere utility tractor with all wheel drive, and I sometimes feel guilty about some of the things I expect it to do. I don’t believe I’d be able to sleep at night if I made mine move a pile of gravel that size!
Need to switch enclosed garages. Use the outside bay for storage & inside bay for quick repairs cuz it seems to have a higher garage door & outside bay has chimney for heater. I think maybe keep lower/smaller machines/attachments in the 3 open bays
Clear glass blocks make awesome coin banks, not sure about textured ones. All it takes is a small hand held grinder and small arbor mounted stone to grind a slot in the middle of one edge!
In the workshop (concrete floor) side, you should push that little work table a few feet toward the bay doors. That way you will have electrical directly over both ends of the table without running an extension cord.

For light bulbs, you should look at those screw in multi panel bulbs. They screw in regular light socket. Myself and friends have used them with success in these applications and cheaper than running new fixtures. Just a thought, thanks for the videos!
One garage door is larger than the other. I would use the smaller door side for storage, just in case you need a taller door to put equipment in on one side. Plus, if you use the smaller door side for storage, you could probably still use the stove outlet without it being in the way.
The Abandoned farmstead is likely the hottest series of videos. Many more to come too. Great bargain purchase, while increasing the fmv with the farmland and the buildings. Time well spent, benefitting in many ways.
Thanks, for sharing this, Mike. I was hoping you'd do another abandoned farm video again. That was a lot of work you two did. Watching you grade the shed and the drive, you are another who can use whatever equipment is at hand to get the job done and done well. This was a fun watch.
