Her real father is the man who raised and loved her. Her biological father is Jamie

You can be upset- but don’t come in talking to your mother like that. She didn’t abandon her..she raised her in a nice comfie home- safe and warm and gave her love and affection. The amount of say children think they have in the lives of their parents? When generally the pain and sacrifice goes unseen, is unreal. Sit down young lady and listen. Maybe you’ll learn something.

Frank was too good for her. She didn't deserve him - she was lucky .

I agree. Frank may or may not deserve Claire as a wife, but his fatherhood to Brianna is beyond reproach.

In many cases, it has to be like this--no way you could make a (one!) movie from 800 or so pages of a book. And I believe there were many shorts explaining the technicalities. 😊

She did a need a good smack. But kids really don’t understand the complexities of life until they have to be adults and live it themselves. It’s easy to be judgmental when the world is rose colored in their eyes

Is this a joke?! I love this show. And I love Claire But (as a professional psychologist) there is no doubt about it- Claire is a bad mother. She was so wracked with despair over leaving the past that she threw herself into her studies and became a doctor. Bri was always her last concern. Frank was a wonderful father and a way better parent than she was, and he wasn’t even her biological father.

So you got mad that she didn't tell you the truth. And now she's trying to tell the truth. And you don't wanna listen. No, you're just a child. And you wonder why she never told you beforehand yes, she should have told you. Yes, she should have, but for you did not even try to understand what and why she did what she did or understand who your father actually was. Now you're gonna act like a child grow up little girl
