Hobi’s Tea Mochi yeah ,first you are in fluffy state and the next moment you know you had being attacked.😂My emotions is unstable during the reading .haha
After reading UKIYO for 6 times, guess what? I'm still here and let me tell you, the whole setting of this anime yells ukiyo's setting from the blonde girl in cage to the hummingbird and the guy who ended up in the hospital and so on... Just like a tide.
Well this makes me think of two things: There should be a Clover anime, and the Clover series should be completely finished. I know the manga in a sense does show the ending, and at least it does that, but it should be completely finished.
+Castr8erForHire Indeed, both of those things need to happen! Apparently Darkhorse were in talks with Universe to get a live action film made, when they assumed the English Language rights, but seems that didn't pan out!
Castr8erForHire I'm still curious if it actually ended as Kazuhiko leaf mark is still in his hand even after Suu's death. I think perhaps that's the reason why CLAMP said there were two volumes left.
The animation is exceptional. I can’t believe this was made in 1999! Seriously looks like at least 2007. They were so ahead of their time. It’s mind boggling!’
When I watched Bladerunner 2049 I couldn't help but notice the similarities in the story: the girl in the bird cage, the statue of a fairy in an abandoned amusement park. There's too little to say there's definite inspiration but even if they are completely separate I guess that makes it even more mysterious.
This does the manga justice. I've gone through the books so many times. I absolutely love them. Some people hate how the story and the setting isn't spelled out for them but I loved having to imagine and fill in the blanks as the story progressed... it was so incredibly beautiful it made me cry constantly. I've always wondered why Kazuhiko has the leaf on his hand still after Sue's death. Maybe she didn't die? I personally think she did. CLAMP didn't spare any heartbreak when writing Clover. But it still makes me feel like a tiny bit of the series is unfinished.

this is honestly the best clamp anime adaptation I’ve ever seen. For some reason whenever clamp series get animated they never seem to be able to translate the “soul” from the manga (at least not the ones I’ve seen) but this is perfect. If only we could have a whole show or movie like this
here because i just finished the manga and it is so heartbreakingly beautiful. really wish someday clamp would make a proper ending for this masterpiece. (i'm a kpop stan too and never heard of ukiyo but it is cool to see kpop references everywhere)
6 months. For 6 months I searched and searched around the internet until I lost me freakin mind. I cannot get this bloody song out of my head until I have it safe and sound on my pc for future generations.
I read the manga for the first time now (2020 uh) and it’s an amazing work, as usual for Clamp works, the animations are good but the illustrations in the manga are wayyy better 😍 I wanted a finale in Clover tho 😔
Clover is the manga with the best art that CLAMP have made, I don't know how these ladies can put on hold such amazing series as this, X and Gohou Drug, they are their best
I have no idea what Ukiyo is but I guarantee Clover deserves better than have most of the comments be people fishing for likes for having been referred here by that thing.
I loved this story, having read the manga at the library and now own it, and it would have been incredible if they adapted this into like a 6 episode ova or short tv series.
So I’m a CLAMP fan, I always comeback because Clever is a masterpiece but know I’m here again because of Ukiyo. Btw, I really recommend you to read the manga, it’s as good as this animation
did you know that they used the singer girl from clover in Tsubasa too!!! I just watched the episodes with her in it and almost died, i think it's episode 17. some where near there
@NanovorStudio your quite welcome! I understand what you mean. Even though it's just a short series it gives off a great amount of emotions. I'm glad that you love it as much as I do, clover is such an amazing piece of art created by CLAMP.
wait ik that people came from ukiyo to listen to this song but this would also fit perfectly in the jikook au wonder by wordcoutore! jimin was left as the last person on earth and this can symbolise him calling for jungkook who's already in his star.
Every time I use to see the manga Tsubasa I would miss judge it and hate it, now it's by far my second fav manga and anime. So now I give every one of CLAMPS works a chance. So when I finished Tsubasa and saw this I tried it and LOVED it!! CLAMP is so talented!! ^-^
YAHHH!! I totally wish this was a trailer for the anime or for an OVA instead of the whole thing. I read the book and loved it so much. LOL. Arigatou Gozaimasu @SakuraHime1995. I really appreciate you uploading this.
@SakuraHime1995 Sort of. It ran until the magazine it was in was canceled. Had the magazine not been canceled, there probably would've been more. Thankfully, the ending ties up almost everything, since it was written kind of like short stories.
@TheDoodlebug1995 thats really good to hear!! :D being open minded is a good thing (especially when it comes to anime) it makes things more enjoyable ^^ but CLAMP is amazing and i would recommend all their series but my absolute favs are tsubasa, x/1999, and Card Captor Sakura~
Well, I've been searching for this song for over a year now. I even scanned every possible clamp location for a possible OST or an Ichiko Hashimoto special song and etc. I got nothing. So, I assume Clamp is keeping this song somewhere hidden deep down in their vaults.
I want this song without the dialogue of the other characters, The song gets in your head and I sing it randomly. Never read the manga but as a CLAMP fan, I know about and the video is enchanting in it's own way. The emotion, the dramatic sweep of it all--it's--I dunno...unique and well..It's pretty abstract to describe it.
