Kristin's facial expression acting is something else here (and not by far just in here). Everyone know she was and to this day still is very beautiful woman, but she is also brilliant and very underated actress. No matter the Superman canon, to me its still shame that writers of Smallville wrote Clana off in the end.
@@Andrea-dp5hs ¡¡exactamente!! estaba enamorada del desenfoque, clark era como la guinda del pastel, en cuanto a Lana, realmente creo que amaba a clark, superman era solo la guinda del pastel
this was the greatest acting on the show, today we have the flash which has a similar tone, but nothing comes close to tuggin the ticker like smallville.. BEST...SHOW...EVER!!
This scene chills me! Tom's performance show how much love he's feeling for her at that moment, and Kristen is so beautiful that almost cried, disearing to be with him again even though she was with Jason , epic moment in season 4, season 4 itself was very good.
Season 4 was one of the worse seasons of SMALLVILLE in my opinion. Even though SMALLVILLE will forever be my favourite series of ALL time. The WB/CW series and shows back frum the late 90's and the early 2000's were some of the best on TV frum that era.
3:10 - that little twitch of her mouth, then she quietly says "this time".............she is absolutely gorgeous. totally understand why even clark with amnesia would go back to her.
Smallville was such a big hit and even now in 2020. The way Clark and Lana were portrayed and Superman's back story! I don't understand why all these comments are so negative about the writers! Lana , Lois and Chloe included! i enjoyed watching the stages of Clark Kent's life lesson through adolescent to adulthood! I thought WB and all the producers, writers and all the actors did a hell of a job to produce a show that we can all enjoy!
the way he says "it was me?" is Everything by Lifehouse™ and more. He clearly still feels something inexplicable and overwhelming for her, even without his memories. Loving Lana is life breathing to him. And he can't imagine he'd stop.
At 0:09 I LOVED the music they used for this so much. It made Clarks attraction to Lana almost Mystical in nature, gave me chills the first time i watched it.
I love it too :) it makes it seem like his obsession with Lana is the result of the influence of evil spirits dooming him to a twilight world of constant will-they-or-won't they, never changing, never moving forward
I'm just starting to watch for the first time and I'm so completely in love with this show. This song fit this scene perfectly. I was crying when he was talking to her by the locker. Now when I hear that song, I will think of this show. Smallville ❤️❤️
because she had the knowledge of his secret, that's why she was protective and patient. that doesn't mean it's true love, it's friendship. Truth is he lied to them all for years Lana, Pete, Chloe and in the end they would all die to protect him.
I don't believe love is completely without reason beyond the first sight; love is from caring and giving for each other, it is about trust and self-sacrifice and it goes both ways. All you could see from Chloe and Clark. In first sight, the most you could get is lust, in case you forget what triggers heat vision...
What is the love of Clark and Lana, but delivery and self sacrifice? There are a lot of feelings and attitudes demonstrate the genuine love they have for each other.
This show was amazing showed Clark Kent is truely lonely ... Chloe was obviously the one in way, she knew who he was and didnt judge, Lana Lang was disaster after disaster we all know from the comics or the movies that Lois Lane is his true love, but Clark Kent will always be alone thats what this show taught us, it was test after test by his father, loss, hate, love, passion, his destiny is much bigger than all of that :)
You're dead wrong... Clark's with Lois just because Lex made sure he and Lana could never be together... Lana Lang is Clark Kent's one true love, they're love story in Smallville is epic, an outstanding demostration of star-crossed lovers whose relationship is doomed from the start.... Any Smallville fan hardly remembers Lois. Plus the chemestry between Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk was simply amazing.
Danny “Lana Lang was a disaster” That “disaster” comforted Clark after Jonathan’s death then found&returned his father’s stolen watch (s5ep13), made him fly (s1ep2), being arm-tied and tossed away by a 84 kg, strong guy overcame him to save Clark (s3ep3), saved ON HER OWN Martha, Jonathan and herself from gangsters (s3ep2)... Shall I go on?
His love wasn't shallow. This scene shows not love from the first sight, but that "the heart remembers more than the brain". Clark didn't fell in a beautiful face. He remembered his FEELINGS for the girl who he loved.
Lana: The pretty girl that induces lust at first sight. Chloe: The one who is patient and protective with Clark at his most vulnerable moment, keeping him from spilling his own secret even after he lied to her for so many times. ...Someone clearly got their priorities wrong.
I wonder what makes you think that Lana wouldnt act the same if she was in Chloe's position here. Its not her fault that she didnt know Clark's secret at this point and its also not her fault that this episode used her and Chloe for the plot in the way it did.
Void Knight if you mean Lana is a selfish, annoying and useless person I have to disappoint you. That character is close to reality. She's not perfect. She has pluses and minuses. Yeah, she made mistakes but her good side is much more stonger than the bad one. Because: - s8ep11, Clark was told that the only way to save the world was to kill the body that Brianiac inhabited (Chloe). Clark thought to do it. But who was the one who convinced him that he could save Chloe and billions of lives. She made him do what would seem impossible (even Legion of Super-Heroes didn't know what to do, but Lana did!): he saved both Chloe and the rest of the world. So do you still think he would never become a superhero if he stayed with Lana? - she saved Lois' life not once but twice (s4ep2 and s11); - s5ep13 she was there to comfort Clark after Jonathan's death; she searched every pawnshop in Metropolis and returned Clark his father's watch; - s3ep3, the episode where Lana hated freaks. But! When she learned that Clark was freak too, she kicked freak-killer's ass to save Clark; she was not afraid for her life but for Clark's. "Clark is more human than you will ever be!" - she told to the freak-killer who could kill her ("You know, there's only the one thing I hate worse than a freak and that's a freak-lover"). Notice, Lana, being arm-tied overcame a 84 kg guy BY HERSELF! - s3ep2, "damsel in distress" saved ON HER OWN Martha and Jonathan and herself from gangsters; - s4ep22, she stole and kept the Crystal of Air, risking her own life. Then she gave it to Clark because he needed it more; - s8ep14, she stopped Clark from killing Lex because he would never forgive himself. This scene showed what was more important to her: vengeance for Lex or love for Clark; -s8, at first she didn't want to be with Clark because she thought that "the world needs him more" (as Lois in s10); also don't forget her words in s7ep5: "Clark, I just want to grab on to you and never let you go but one day the world will need you more than I do, and I don't want to be the one holding you here"; - s1ep9, Clark was upset and thought his parents’ life would be better if they had never adopted him. Lana comforted him and told her own similar story with happy ending; - s1ep2, Clark dreams that he's flying to Lana. Then he wakes up and he is really flying! She made him fly as Lois did. Do you still think Clark couldn’t take off being with Lana? Actually there are more good deeds made by Lana. But people prefer not to see them. So obviously Lana isn’t the worst Smallville character at least because she could make Clark fly (as Lois could), believe in himself, she loved Clark more than her own life (as Lois and other his beloved ones did). Also deep down Lana was a badass person too. And she needed super abilities mostly to be with Clark, not because she considered herself weak. We see that in season 11. When she lost all her powers, she wasn’t upset at all. She decided to stay in Africa and continue helping children being normal. Her words “Now, even without my powers, I feel stronger than ever”.
I wouldn’t say iconic because more people know about clark kent and Lois lane then Lana Lang and clark Kent I mean nothing beats Superman and Lois when it comes to what is iconic I mean there is nothing more iconic then them Lois and clark is apart of pop culture hell most people don’t even know who Lana Lang is unless the watch smallville
