They don't even need words... when Lana asks "where do you get the energy?" from the look on clark's face we already know he was thinking "you're my energy".
It really hurt to see that knowing the end of the show, they were so cute together we can imagine what their life would have been, from equal to equal, a teem of superheroes Saving people together. This life would have been so beautifull and exciting to see. That love will never disapear. We all know that if there would not have the kryptonit’s problem clark would have never take a look on lois. Everything disappear when lana is around him. Miss them two Clana
Pretty sure he wasn’t thinking about Lois here! He always chose Lana. He didn’t think about Lois until Lana was completely out of the picture and unobtainable, it took kryptonite to do that. Lana was his soulmate, ill-fated yes(thanks to the writers), but in Smallville Clana > Clois.
The writers gave that ending to Lana because the actress no longer wanted to stay on the show, she herself said so, she only returned to give closure to her character but I would have loved to see Lana until the last season becoming Superwoman
I started watching this show for many reasons but Clark and Lana’s chemistry was at the top. I agree with many of the comments made over the years - they tried but the chemistry with Lois and Clark (Tom and Erica) just wasn’t there like it was with Kristen. They had something so special- it would have been nice for that to have been explored.
Lana and Clark are so good together their chemistry must be amazing man they did a hell of a job for 7 seasons i was so mad when Lana left the show Tanked. No offense to the girl who played Lois but her and Clark/Tom had no fucking chemistry at all they looked awkward together every time i seen them on screen.
EVEN WHEN LANA BECOME SUPERGIRL CLARK ALWAYS WORRY ABOUT HER....HE'S WAY TOOO OVERPROTECTED TO LANA.....IF JUST THEY END UP TOGETHER, THEY WILL BE THE 1ST COUPLE HEROES
You know this shows how HAPPY they could have been... right before she gets stolen away once again. Let Clark be happy? No, this show makes Clark suffer... which is why he ended up with the INSUFFERABLE lois... because maybe someone is better than NO ONE? and he can't have Lana. This episode cemented Lana Lang as THE undeniable star-crossed love of Clark's life forever.
And with the arrowverse since Clark gave up his powers or if you want to think he can use the blue kryptonite watch whenever, there really is no reason keeping him and Lana apart anymore.
"All I've ever wanted was someone to share my life with...to WORK WITH ME...SIDE BY SIDE...just like my Mom and Dad did..." Gee...I wonder who his partner ended up being...at WORK and at HOME...🤔 Jeopardy theme plays while I ponder...🤔
No, she didn't. Lana needed powers to *be with Clark.* That opinion is proved in season 11 when she lost all her super abilities (“...Now even without my powers I’ve never felt stronger). And I also don’t see anything wrong with her words to Carter Bowfry (who taught her to be Lana Lang, not anyone other) that she wanted to be like Clark. He (Clark) was the hero for her, the example to follow. Also she knew that someday he would have to leave all his beloved ones for his destiny. *So she just wanted him not to feel alone.* Her words to Clark “That is who I really am”, “You don’t have to save me anymore” because she didn’t want him to blame himself (as in most cases, if not always) for her changing herself; and to Tess “I did that to protect people” not to make others to blame Clark. By the way, in “Crisis” Clark also changed himself: he gave up his abilities and rejected his destiny in order to have a family.
Lana had those weird face expressions like she was trying too hard. This put me off the show. Of course, using thirty year olds as high school students didn't help. Actors in Teen Wolf actually looked like that they could be in high school.
