A Clare Mother and Baby Home survivor is accusing the State of "dangling a carrot" in front of him and his fellow survivors when it comes to redress.
Former Trade Unionist Sheila Nunan was appointed by the Minister for Equality as "expert negotiator" tasked with securing money from church orders for Mother and Baby Home redress in May of last year.
She was given a deadline of undisclosed deadline of six months but it's not been confirmed talks have not reached a point of a final offer of money being made from congregations involved in the running of the homes.
Cree native Anthony Morrissey who was adopted at birth claims the Government is trying to "get away with as much as the can" and believes redress should be extended to the families of those who have passed away since leaving the homes.
