JUNE 23, 2022: There was not a dry eye at the Achievers' Multi-Resource Centre on Chapelton Road in May Pen on Wednesday when The Gleaner visited the institution where classmates of 15-year-old Kimanda Smith and the staff gave in to their emotions.
Smith, along with her siblings - Rafaella Smith, Shara Lee Smith and Kishawn Henry Jr and her mother, Kemesha Wright's bodies were found with throats slashed Tuesday morning in their house on New Road, close to New Longville in Clarendon.

I can't stop crying, I literally broke down while watching this. Everyone in the world is in pain right now, this is too sad. Nobody deserve this, those children oh my God. I really can't believe that one person could've committed such an act. Who ever is responsible should be executed them no deserve to go to prison. 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔

Father God we repent as a nation, we have followed the wrong path, we have sinned against you, we ask you father God to forgive us, we pray for the schools and communities that are grieving the loss of these beautiful souls we pray that you will receive them in your kingdom we pray for the people of Jamaica both local and abroad, comfort their hearts, bring Peace to their souls, we pray that the spirit of love and peace permeates the hearts of your people, the enemy knows his time is short and he is trying to deceive as many people as possible but Lord you have overcome the enemy and greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world, we drive back the forces of evil that would want to destroy families in our beautiful country of Jamaica, we say to you demonic forces go back from whence you came, we thank you Lord for healing your people, we thank you for hearing us we thank you for saving us in Jesus name amen🙏🏽

SMH …A country’s most valuable resource is its people. Stop the killing of your brothers and sisters. It’s our 60th year of independence and it’s just a lot of grief on a DAILY basis! Pick up your phone/lap top to request change. These minor sentences are no deterrent to crime/violence. Truancy is very serious. Every youth/child must have an education or skill . Be your brothers keeper. Where is the care/love . Stop the killing.

60 years there should be no independence celebrations. My heart goes out to this family..No nation dhould suffer like this. The trauma this nation is going through. It's not fair. The mental status of these children. Children need good memories of their childhood not these traumatic situations. Not good. God not sleeping and the Mighty Creator is angry.

I feel this one to my heart and soul, 5 lives snuffed out just like that? No man this is too much. They were such beautiful and promising children and to just lose all of them all at once, to be honest I can't see through this at all.
