Snyder Cut showed a more wholesome scene. Better lines, a butterfly flying around Clark, colour grading. To put it simply, this scene didn't need to be reshot. It was already good.

What are you talking the lines and the color grading are worse. In the 2017 version Lois actully tells Clark that batman needs him. In the snyder cut he is just like "quess they need my help" which makes no sense. Nevermind that none of these scenes are good as supermans death had no emotional impact because killing him in the first place when we barely know his character is some of the dumbest writing they could have done. Justice league should have about Batman and superman becoming friends and building a team together. Not them Bringing back superman just so he can save the day. Either have superman be dead til the second Justice league movie to make his death more impactful or don't kill him of to begin with

The one thing that really disappointed me about this scene is how you can SEE where Tsujihara had Whedon cut, to remove those beautiful lines. And when it cuts to Lois, she's CLEARLY fingering the ring because of what Clark said. Dang it, Tsujihara. "2 hours even", you said. "Not a second longer", you said. HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN, TO BE FLEXIBLE, *JUST* FOR THIS?!?

And you cant "chose the scenes better" you need to respect the telling of a story and show the FULLEST aspects of it to give people a real experience. that if you know what art is or just what a movie is supposed to be, or you have a bit of respect for fans, and in their case, they don't.

im not a fan of the justice league films, but the emotion of superman coming back , the reunion with mum and louis lane was pure superman. The man of steel was absolutely brilliant. I dont understand some of the people who dissed it. The casting was 100 percent spot on. General zod was fucking scary, clark kents mum puts in an incredible moving portrayal , oscar worthy if it wasnt a D.C film.And she continues that performance in justice league.

I think this scene encapsulates Batman's observation about Supes: "It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then… he shoots fire from the skies and it its difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him."

I really appreciated that they took the time to reunite Clark with his mother. They're relationship has been underutilized up to now, and hopefully we'll see it in a better capacity in the future.

This had to be THE heart of the movie, the moment between action where you feel the impact of Superman's return, of him being human and accepting completely his role as Earth's protector. And they even gave us a hint of it in the trailer, with Zimmer's music and Henry's real face. Instead we get "itchy" dialogue and that corny "yes ma'am" line. Part with Martha was a truly emotional moment, no unnecessary dialogue, just pure emotion.

I’m gonna be honest here. I think Joss Wheadon is getting a little too much hate for the theatrical version of Justice League. I mean, he is definitely 100% guilty for how it came out. But i think Warner Bros was far more to blame than Wheadon himself. I mean the fact that the studio even hired Joss Wheadon, a man with the exact opposite directing style as Snyder, to take over reshoots was a giant red-flag

Mate, the dialouge is fine. This scene is actaully pretty good. The only problem with this scene was the shitt CG up Cavill's lip. All this could have been avoided had the movie been delayed by a few months and give the VFX team more time to prefect the CG.

I recently listened to Zimmer's Man of Steel Soundtrack. Aside from Superman's Theme and Zod's the soundtrack consisted mostly of drum beats. Nothing epic or memorable at all.

I felt like this scene needed more emotion especially when Martha first saw Clark. You would expect her to be on the verge of breaking down after realising her son was no longer dead. The music as well is just horrendous throughout the film.

The thing is, the way they interact, talk with each other is so weird. Yet the last seconds of Kent with his mother is more genuine and real. The relationship between Clark and his mother is a very special one, they established it in MoS, she is the only one who knows the burden his carries, couldn't even mourn his death.. There was so much potential. Imagine Darkseid take Ma out, superman going balistic like a guy who went kamakaze on some dynamite burrito. Oh wait, that whole Ma angle was also explored in BvS. MCU was daddy issues, DC is mother issues. WTF man I need to write a Superman movie with Cavill.

Everybody’s here hating on this movie, but I remember when I saw it. Day before Thanksgiving, 2017. I was with my extended family, people I hadn’t seen in forever, friends who I had almost forgotten about. We all loved this movie. It had humor, it had action, it was uplifting and it made sense. On a sadder note, it was also the last time that I saw my cousin before he was deployed in the Marines, so I’ll always remember seeing his face light up watching this movie. The Snyder cut kind of hurts me because this right here was the version that I really liked and enjoyed with company. If you like the Snyder cut, that’s fine. Just remember that not everyone agrees with you.

Something that just occurred to me is that in this version of the movie, Lois knows that Bruce is Batman. That means that as a reporter, she’s sitting on the biggest story of her career since the revelation that aliens exist, and she’s not doing a damn thing with that info. It’s just weird. EDIT: Also, I know that the same thing happens in the Animated Series, but she was dating Bruce in that episode, so it’s not the same.

He called himself idiot for leaving her to go fight Doomsday. I call him an idiot not for leaving but to attack Doomsday with kryptonite spear from the front and not leaving the immediate vicinity quickly after the stabbing. The safest way would have been to attack Doomsday from behind.

Victoryagent, can't you see the house in the background, the corn field, Supes' face? Blatant CGI. Transformers are robots, that's to be expected to use CGI, but why the hell they CGI'd corn field?
