True, Tess was very serious from what she's been through and her personality, intelligence/deep thoughts, then Clark inspired her. I wish they had kept this scene! It would have been legendary! ... They kept a scene of her saying that his tie looks good on him at the Daily Planet, but it is within many other scenes, so it's hard to tell it was from this one.

I’m glad they didn’t. Clark knows his type and Tess has none of his female interests. It would make her look twice as pathetic if she starts throwing herself at Clark. She’s already doing it with all the talks of him hoping he’d open up to her and trust her and all she does for him.

Too bad Clark was a such a Boy Scout.

@@cwp4eva I know. Clark messed it up for himself with A LOT of these females. He messed it up with Lana and with other girls because je was in love with Lana who married Lex. Lol. I wish I was on that show

I half agreed, they needed a sort of Luthor since MR left the show so Tess was an excellent substitute.

This. Clana went on toooooooo long. It was a great coming of age "girl next door" type thing - but should have ended - relationships don't always have to end in angst - people sometimes change and lives go in different directions. I think it would have been a great end to clana - right after highschool. Tess - a great character - and cassidy freeman did an outstanding job with her - I am not sure how it would have worked out - but yeah, I think clark needed more relationship experience and maturity, before really being able to appreciate and handle lois.

This needs to be in 4k but I'd settle for 1080p. This may be balsphemy but I like Smallville better after Michael left and Cassidy as Tess is a big reason why. She had one of the best character arcs of the entire run.
