For some reason I didn't quite see it during Smallville's original airing but only after years passing and watching back do I see Tom was one hell of a good cast for Clark Kent.
I didn't think he was bad back then, but I'm surprised that I didn't obsess over the show and finish watching it. I'm watching it now and it's bloody amazing and Tom was perfect!
You know, the show did good job at making Tom look a little shorter, I had no idea he was 6'3". He could have very easily played Clark's adult counterpart too.

I live in the Netherlands and found Smallville by accident through a youtube compilation of funny smallville moments just five years ago, but here's the thing: No-one I know has heard of Smallville ever, not even the generation that was supposed to be in high school during the show's release. That should change!
