Im happy you kept this unbiased, because i feel like everyone making a video about him tends to pick a side. Personally ive never understood the idea that making these kind of jokes will affect anyone in a serious way, he should stay on the platform and if someone doesn't like this kind of content, they can simply choose to not watch him lmao

I respect and appreciate the dark humor Crusher puts in his videos. The world is too serious about things nowadays and someone always gets offended by something so why not make something offensive regardless?

I discovered him when I was 17, for me his humor was just kind of like, “how does a clash royale RU-vidr have the audacity to say half of this stuff”, it was funny just from the sheer absurdity of what he joked about, that and his game play isn’t actually half bad, same with *most* of the challenge ideas, it’s a neesh not many clash RU-vidrs had and it made him unique, still kinda does even if you have people who decided to take his loudness and run with it

I LOVE dark jokes, but not many ppl seem to know how to do them properly. Often it's either too much of it at the time or just blatant racism/secksim/other hate speech. IMO, Crusher is in between these two. His vids are fun to watch at times, but not more that one per week cuz it just gets boring and his cringe behaviour starts to annoy you, and his jokes over time are shifting more to the "insult in a joke coat" type than just "edgy jokes". I do think that he SHOULD stay in the platform (he's one of a kind YTber in this community and he holds his own niche in the game's clout, but he definitely should be kept in check if he gets carried away like it was talked about in the BossCR's video

I personally don't watch him often but I'm glad he exists. Need to have youtubers like this to push back on the sensitive people

One thing I want to state. In my experience people underestimate children a lot. I have been working as a volunteer with children for over a decade now. And in my experience if they ever say something really bad the way to go is not to overreact and to shout, but to take them aside get down to eyelevel with them and explain them why that joke can be problematic. They understand it. Yes they may use that joke again but they understand the context. It always sticks with them if you treat them respectfully and like they think you would an adult. Thats what they want a lot of the time. Children are quite perceptive after a certain age. And if you explain stuff properly with reasons they are actually quite likely to listen. Me as an 19 year old fan of Crusher21, I don't find these jokes very offensive. Here in my country, Portugal, we have comedians with jokes that make fun of autistic people, Hitler, French people, and so on. It's meant for adults, they love it, but also, every 12 year old knows every single joke from start to finish. They mostly tell them to his friends, joke about it, but rarely results on racists action or neglect to the other people feelings. Justs becomes conserning when they make it their full personality, which does not means warm for other's but instead for themselves I think the solution to this problem is to him put a disclaimer at the start of every future video, saying these it's just for laugh and giggles. And don't worry, we had many edgy youtubers and they all matured in 1 way or another.

I love dark humor and I participate in it alot, but I respect how you stayed neutral in this whole video, I have watched your other videos and I think you're very underrated, I subbed and hope you get more popular

Good summary of the situation, the one minor thing I'd point out tho is that there's a difference between "dark" humor and just plain "edgy" humor. If you aren't bringing these controversial topics up tactifully or with any sort of comedic throughline, then most likely you're just going for shock value. Good jokes can include dark topics, but rarely will the punchline simply be the inclusion of the dark topic. Its not like only kids do this, but I definitely think this connects to what you were saying about Crusher appealing to a younger audience with this style of joke. These sorts of jokes get old for more mature audiences because you dull your own blade when you use the edgy stuff non-stop. Kids will generally see moee novelty in it tho because often they'll find themselves in enironements were people are telling them that they shouldn't be saying those sorts of things.

A good sense of humour is a sign of a great intellect. The fact that these people get so offended by his jokes tells that they neither have sense of humour nor intelligence.

Certainly a unique take on the situation. I don't think I'm going to be in the same boat as anyone here, but it does irk me to hear the "well this is like older youtube/old CoD Lobbies" point being used in the comments. The problem of that point of view imo is the fact that everyone seems to neglect who were the targets of those remarks. I'm just a commenter and you're a youtuber, so I don't have an iota of clue of what your life experiences were/are, but as person who personally knows a good handful of people who would be the targets of these jokes, or have been, it's just mildly frustrating to see people give these jokes a bit of slack. I hold no hate towards Crusher21 or anyone who has done what I mentioned, I just wish people were a little more aware of some things. And no, I don't think crusher should be canceled, if he continued to do worse things or never lessen his (to quote another commenter) "insults in a jokes' coats" down to actual dark humor, then I think he should at least get some form of consequence. But I think as the young person he is, he can better himself and not screw up this career he has ahead of himself. Overall still a very interesting video.

1. Good video! Keeping a it as neutral at the start was great and giving him a fair background was definitely a plus 2. I’m not a huge furry fan but you taking into consideration your background and then doing the analysis on Crusher21. I can 100% respect that and how you handled that 3. I am a Crusher fan and while I’m probably older then the average fan. I find his content as something you can turn your brain off, watch a bit of clash royale content and laugh ur head off for 30 mins - 1 hour. 4. I see where everyone comes from but I would say the parents need to get involved if this is an issue. The kid(s) probably don’t know better, so the parent should monitor it. If they see that his content is “bad” to there standards. Then don’t let them watch it.

I get joking about stuff like slavery and "women" in minute amounts, I'm sure we've all done it at some point, but this guy basically makes it his entire channel's gimmick. I'm not American so I can't talk about the 9/11 jokes, but about the OceanGate stuff... yeah those are fine imo. I'm sorry, but that whole situation is so dam hilarious to me even though it's a tragedy and I can't blame people for joking about it. Honestly the best comparison I can come up with is IShowSpeed but he's white and also good at clash royale. They both seem to act stupid for clout and don't really care about the consequences that much.

I do feel like he found his audiences and is just doing what he thinks they will like. From what I see, he does go sometime beyond the line of it being a joke and even he acknowledge when he does make these mistakes. Personality he's not my cup of tea, but I can see why others find some enjoyment from his videos.

Crusher21's gameplay and his RU-vid skills are great, but at some point the content he creates will get him removed off the platform. Really hope that dosen't happen though.

People that defend crusher are always saying stuff like "stop being offended snowflake" when they don't realize how much some of these "jokes" can hurt people It's like telling a depressed person to stop being depressed. Also the "it's just a joke" argument is also stupid Does that mean it's okay to murder people because "it's a joke" or what Sure that may be a bit far but my point still stands, you can't just say something is okay because it's a joke I don't have a problem with liking some of crusher's content or anything like that, I just have a problem when you tell people to stop being offended or that it's okay because it's a joke. There will be people who don't think it's okay, and there will be people who do think it's okay. My opinion on crusher would be way different if the jokes were only contained in videos with content warnings at the beginning, as it would give people a warning that there will be offensive content, but instead he just puts offensive content in his thumbnails and videos with no warning, and his fans expect nobody to get offended.

The thing is that about a year ago, I was annoyed that no one was making any videos about him despite him being a very entertaining youtuber then I was annoyed when people only started to make videos about him after the 300 black men meme started. The thing is that the things I find funny about him are different to the things in most of the compilations nor him

I do have to say though. As of now, I am 22 years old. Even now, I do enjoy me some dark humor from time to time. And I won’t lie, I even found some of jokes to be funny in a way. But I do agree when people say he sometimes takes things a bit too far. Like the thumbnails subtly using the n word or using “terrorist/African cycle” on the thumbnails, and even in the (now deleted) instance where he did black face in one of his videos.

Can't say I find everything he says and does funny, but it's refreshing to see someone so polarizing finding success. In a culture of censorship, its really nice to see.

i am by no means old, but i am an adult and personally i enjoy his content, although some of the jokes are outrageous, i think the overblown reactions and the witty remarks every so often are really entertaining and seems like a really talented dude.

Looking at his channel today, one of his recent videos is "beating clash royale the african way", with a goblin hut pic as the thumbnail, goblins edited to be monkeys Idk not to be that guy but at that point he's far too deep, his content is just "hey i just said something unusual/bigoted!! Woahhh so shocking" which will def attract rebellious12 year olds who think its cool to act like this, mighr even lead to children acting like this infront of people I understand dark humor is funny sure, but this aint that. Imo, he should def change his style of content, dark humor is not bad, its bad when the line between dark humor and just straight up bigotry becomes vague is when it becomes troubling, and thats what seems to he happening with crusher

i love Crusher 21, and admittedly his content is really edgy and cringy. though, even as he makes these blatantly racist jokes, I still think he's all right. most edgelords use their "dark" humor simply as a way to project their ideologies under the guise of a joke. often these people will get very defensive and call people snowflakes. on the other hand, there's people who truly have no ill intent when saying edgy stuff, even when saying blatantly racist things. while it's harder to differentiate the two, i still think Crusher's just being an edgy teen because he's still an edgy teen. his content is really fun and there seems to be little evidence of him and an ulterior motive behind his edgy humor. i still respect people who dislike his content and humor, though.
