There are few books which is essential to read as to understand market. 1- How to find multibagger (by Prasenjit Paul) 2- Peter Lynch books. 3- The big Bull of dalal street (by Neil Borate) 4- value investing and behavioural finance (by Parag Parikh). 5- The Thoughtful Investor. You just need to stay away from bad investment and great investment find it way to become big. Will it not be correct to say that US has higher STCG & LTCG rates than India ? From what i could read, STCG is at marginal rate and LTCG is at 0, 15 or 20% depending on the value of LTCG ? How the tax utilized is a different thing.

Companies like MBF in small cap & Delhivery in logistics seems to have significant valuation potential. I have made investment memo on Delhivery. Would love for you to read and give a view. My question is , how does one understand the overall market fall or run. This is one question i have found difficult to talk about when asked upon. Normally as a fundamental analysis, i view the balance sheets, project the models, come to a target price based on DCF then understand the P/E and asset light multiple, management, revenue, margins, working capital, capex and know fairly well about the company but how to analyse the overall market as in why did the market go up today? So govt economist might be implementing this basic economic theory i.e: counter cyclical aggregate demand management via fiscal and monetary policies.

For TAX PNL I downloaded the data from my discount broker app on 10 jul 24 and 25 July 24. There is a difference in profit/loss values . Ok raising this , broker casual wrote that the latter data is to be used. What if I had filed my ITR with the 10 jul 24 data. What shall I do. 2. What it means when on a particular day, there is a huge volume traded say higeest in lifetime / many years? And what if the same intuition sell and buy on same day raising the volume.
