Ol' EE still gettin' 'er done! Does this American railfan's heart good to still see these BR classics up and running. True workhorses of the British railroad network.
Ooooh yes chief she curtainly got the job done ;-) got hours and hours of footage of her working hard up here not uploaded yet.... we've got Class 20's EE here at the moment but reckon soon enough a 37 will be back again doing the honours and i'll be camped out up Peak Forest
I have just come across these videos of trains and they are absolutely wonderful. I am fed up of the trash on offer in our world…violence, gratuitous sex, “ Celebs’’…this is good honest stuff.
Which ones? A 66 has almost twice the tractive effort; a 70 has even more. Class 68s have a slightly higher tractive effort than a 37. I guess a 67 might struggle but they weren't designed for heavy freight work. Sorry to get in the way of your attempt at a "modern stuff is rubbish" play.
@@markmaw8 hello buddy and it’s immense I’ve still got footage to upload of her slipping to a stand and jus constantly thrashing for like 15 minutes but all in good time 🤘🏻🤗 an she’s currently away having bogie attention at Eastleigh chief but if she comes back to Forest I’ll be straight up there 😉 so keep an eye on my channel for her buddy
@@markmaw8 excellent news I love N Gauge! Can fit so much in unlike OO or especially the popular O Gauge now which I’m still not understanding 🤦🏻♂️ but if you ever want out weathering or re numbering jus let me know as I do it for a living have done for over 20 years now 😀
Thanks matey an hopefully not shes here long term this time.... only issue is shes not done much tbh since been here always parked up in the shunt siding! Thou we picked a good day to go as we know atleast the staff that day are happy using her and not the ruddy shed thing up there for loading also
Sorry i dont follow guidelines.Dont know abt power but te diesel engine sound is a great attraction to me next to cls20 chopper.Nothing beats te class 20 notes.
Its pushing back a fully loaded lime train up hill, Class 37's are one the loudest built british loco's and don't or didn't do much of there work quietly
@@gavin37688What I mean is that it's not the constant sound we get with our GE's; more like a rev .. rev... rev... sort of sound. I've noticed they also sound similar when they notch up: almost in spurts, which ours (S Africa) don'e seem to do.
That would definately be interesting up there don’t know if it would like loaded an half loaded pushbacks on wet rail uphill thou… but yeh love a good Hoover me
Firstly i don't care... do i need to share the vids on here with everyone no" but i do... secondly lol its "NOT" DRS drivers on them here so try again.
What a stupid comment, nothing wrong with the camera whatsoever, a class 37 under load on a slippery gradient is bound to slip and thrash and lastly why would DRS see this and sack the driver? Considering it’s on hire to another company to shunt and it’s shunting as per it’s contracted duty I bet they’ve seen it and are impressed an old Loco is putting modern image locos to shame
