You never forget the sound of a class 37 coming towards you when you are in the Highlands of Scotland.
The 37s filmed in the West Highlands were.
37418+37427 1Y11 London Euston to Fort William
37411+37426 1Z18 Glenrothes to Mallaig via Fort William
1Z19 was on the return shots.

I remember this trip so so well Mike. The walk from Rannoch station to the bridge. Great happy days and ones I shall never forget.

Wonderful footage of the 37s Mike. Never got to film up there myself even though i drove out to Rannoch Moor station once just to say i'd been there 😆Thanks for sharing this video Mike. Take care out there, Colin.

Hi Colin, you know what that road is like to Rannoch Moor then, I did it twice and the second time we stopped in a weird B&B but it did the job for us. Such a great peaceful area as you know. thank you for commenting. have a good weekend, Mike.

Great scenery and great sounding tractors. What more could you ask for? Good to see some shots at Abington. I went there with my Dad on a holiday about 20 years ago as well. Must go back. All the best. Ben

My mate said the same Ben, he told me he took his son to that location at Abington to watch the train as you can get near the line, but them days have gone due to H&S. Cheers Mike.

Super filming. Be good to have a few 37's running up there again. I saw the Jacobite at Glenfinnan Viaduct in April for the first time.👍

Oh David it would get loads of us up there, you do get 37s still on test trains. That is a great sight to witness with a train going over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. ATB Mike.
