I have one observation, when mars is in its normal motion it acts as the lord of aries;full of direct fiery energy and implusiveness but when it goes retrograde it harnesses the energy of scorpio;calm, calculative and vengeful. Since it's in directional strength, your output is in correct direction (business, partnerships because of Libra ascendant) but since it's debilitated you may not feel like your enjoying what you are doing, may be you are forced to do those things out of some compulsion or obligation for something. And since it's retrograde, you maybe over exerting on those things and thinking repeatedly on those things.
