Favorited. ^_^ I was alive and listening to music in 1984, including lots of New Wave, but I don't recall ever hearing of this band or this song until today. RU-vid has its good points.
Listening this song for 2 or 3 years now. This song is my favorite song of all time. I don't listen to any other song more often and I don't get goosebumps like this with any other song. It blows me away again and again! On place 2 follows Dramarama with Anything Anything ;) Does anyone have the lyrics to the song or can write them for me? That would be super nice. Thanks to all in advance :)
Hey Alex, I've got what I believe to be the lyrics for everything but the last verse. I used the remastered version on Soundcloud as its much easier to hear what he's saying, but I prefer this version otherwise. I thought I'd post what I have and see if somebody could fill in the blanks: Staring at the stars I find myself alone And so unattached All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) It's all I feel and all I want to do Somewhere out in space Just you and I like there's a way drawn in place All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) It's all I feel and all I want to do (Blast off) All I wanna do baby (Blast off) I gotta take you with me I, I gotta take you with me But are you ready to go? Yes are you ready to go? I, I wanna to take you, I gotta take you with me Blast off (Blast off) All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) Staring at the stars I find myself alone And so unattached All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) All I want to do is blast off (Blast off) Blast from this planet And have a *___** **___* too/you (Blast off) I wanna *___** **___* with you (Blast off) I wanna *___ ___ * you and you (Blast off) I wanna *___** **___* with you (Blast off) It's all I feel and all I want to do
Wow, 50 views short of 100,000... That's so great for a band nobody's ever heard of. I'm so frustrated I can't find out more about Class Action. Wikipedia knows a NYC-based band named "Class Action", whose disco track "Weekend" was a minor hit in 1983, but they're definitely not the same band. Googling them yields nothing more than that they issued an EP with four songs, including this one. Is there anyone who can tell me more about them? @Malario80 himself maybe?
