Thank you, Ricardo Bali! I appreciate this video! Complete, precise and very informative. As someone who is just starting on his CDL journey I was curious with the entire repetitive nature (Properly mounted and secured, no missing nuts and bolts......) but by the end of the video it was rolling off my tongue and it helped me put the entire Pre-Trip inspection in proper perspective. Great mnemonic skill! I also apply it to my personal life as well. For example, whenever I meet a woman, in the back of my mind I hear your voice saying, "Is she properly mounted and secured, No missing nuts and bolts......... lol Thanks again!
Lol 😆 thanks for that. Im glad you liked the video. Please dont forget to like, share and subscribe to help us reach more people in need of help to get the CDL.
I have my cdl test tomorrow and I have been studying non stop. This video helped alot. Here in Arizona they require more things to be mentioned 😅 stressed out!
No you dont. But keep in mind that this is the old pretrip method. There is a new Modernization method that alot of DPS offices are turning into. We will be recording a new pretrip soon. Please check if the DPS office you will be testing on, is still using the old method or the modernized method.
We are located in the State of Texas. As now it should apply to most states but keep in mind that all states are changing the law on the way Pretrip and maneuvers are being done. If you'd like more information on this change, please call us at 9562332266.
Wouldn’t it have just been easier to say I would check all hoses and wires on this side the same as I did on the other side That’s what my trainer taught me Saves you the trouble of repeating yourself about the same stuff over and over and save you a few minutes here and there for the 30 minute inspection
great job great training video but i believe you forgot to mention and inspect the exhaust from the rear witch is definitely on the inspection or did i miss that thanks.
Hi. Thanks for reaching out. Yes, we are aware RU-vid cut off the sound for the airbrake section. However we did upload a new video specifically for the airbrakes on a Class B vehicle.
when i went for my class A 12 years ago the examiner stopped me randomly while doing the pretrip portion asked what does this part do and where and how can it develop damage. Was way more through than i was expecting
You got this! Memorize All the bus components, if you want it it is yours! Write, speak it listen to the training video, and study the DPS Section 11 if you are in Texas
Hi. Thanks for reaching out. We are aware about the audio issue. We have another video exclusively for the air brake section for Class B vehicles in our channel.
Hello All! I just started watching your channel! Hands down the best by far, you are very thorough! I am a Navy Veteran, Retired DPS Special Agent. There is a huge shortage of bus drivers not just in Texas but nation wide. The tests are not easy , this is by far the most difficult I have yet to encounter, If you chose this profession , just know that for SAFETY purposes you MUST know your bus like the back of your hand. No shortcuts. This has not been easy for me either! I was called by a friend to come help the school districts who are in badly need of bus drivers and I must say this is the best channel for training purposes! Thank You 🙌🏾Wish me well, I take my test in one week! Keep up the great work!!!' PS.... Make sure the bus you take for you CDL test is the bus you have been training with and ALL you systems and components are working. We had a co-worker who took a bus for the test and failed because the coolant level was below the safe operating level. Check the bus your self prior to your test! Best wishes to everyone!!!
Iam in Massachusetts in be Looking the video is good but my instructor go to different think because she say that everything change now that is true 😮😅
Thank tou Ricardo, tou are amazing ❤❤❤ I already have my CDL but I like ro continue to remeevery thing, so I saved tour video and watit 3 times a mont.
Yeah there are parts where is no audio but i got it down memorized. I have my test scheduled on Friday wish me luck. Couldn’t have done it without your videos bother. Thank you 🙏
That would be the coolant reservoir for the passenger heater, but you wouldn't need to call it if you already named it on the other side. No need to name it twice. 👍
At the end of the airbrake test, the volume was not working at all in this video so people cannot hear what you are explaining about the airbrakes that needs to be done all over again
