Damn Mr. Skinner was a proper dude, no matter how bad Paris was, he didn't push him away and kept bouncing back to him, cause he knew that he loved English and he wanted to be smart and perfect, A toast to him for helping him out
Seriously I'm 23 now and in the midst of uni [Wales, UK] but I think we should have had the time to express ourselves a bit more in school without such judgement and 'rankings'. I don't remember much from school (got alright grades but I felt it didn't do anything for me) and teachers like this LITERALLY give you that time in a matter of a ten minute conversation. I didn't have that and was always a very quiet child in school. I feel it just hindered me more that as much as I did talk to teachers outside of class about how I felt, they didn't try and help me out with regards to my mental thinking/ health. It's absolutely ridiculous. I wish we had teachers as dedicated as Mr. Skinner
I feel like Paris is a good guy but he gets stressed about things so he converts his stress and anxiety into “not being bothered” It’s clear he is bothered, it’s just his brain saying he can’t when he can. I can relate to that, I know how it feels.
@@blmafflck3105 ayyy!! I hope you’re doing well 😊 If anyone comments any negative comments from watching this video, don’t listen. You’re awesome and well done for your GCSE results 👏👏👏
There were a couple of class clowns in my tutor group when I was at secondary school from 1994-1999. Actually I spent most of my time in a support base for children with physical and learning disabilities. I was in mainstream for some of my lessons. I could never understand why other kids with no disabilities misbehaved in lessons. By the way I was the victim of low level bullying, partly my fault because I would grassed them to the teachers and get visibly upset and angry.
Because it’s bullshit yeah it’s sad he got bullied but it’s his own fault you don’t start smoke by telling the teacher and expect nothing to happen to you like that’s wht bullies do when u snitch they bullie you specially when you cry or show that they get to you it gives them adrenaline and it gets addictive u do things on purpose to people to get that dose of adrenaline and it wasn’t me being rude it was me correcting them and least I’m not using my autism as a excuse
In scotland is more of a swig of alcohol before class: (Geography) "Sir, ah need teh pee" "That's the third time this lesson and it's not even quarter past three" "Aho sir, but ah really need to go i'll pee ma pants" "Do you have a bowl disorder or something?" "Yes sir" ~takes out medical slip "I was joking but alright fine"
@@Great_WesternTVFan also. another commenter on this video coincidentally said the same thing, that the boy in the video gives him KSI vibes too. you don’t see these people replying all offended and commenting “racist”. and just in general, someone’s appearance and features can be reminded of other people so yes, the guy in the vid does give me ksi vibes
I've never understood TV shows like this, I really don't think the fact that you are literally being filmed and going on TV is gonna do anything positive for these kids. Its obviously gonna make them act out more, I know it would have for me. Especially with year 11's. If these kids exams are 8 weeks away at the time of this being filmed, why would the school deem it appropriate to welcome in such a big distraction, and literally mic up specific kids that are going to be interesting for the show? I get that it is just a TV show and I probably don't need to be looking at it this deeply, but what if this show never happened and some of the kids literally ended up doing better by the end of the year because they didn't have the distraction of literally being filmed for a TV show. As a teenager especially, you are not going to be yourself if you are under a spotlight constantly, whether that be a good or a bad thing, it could be detrimental towards these kids results and general experience at school. Just a thought, no hate here.
Get what ya saying.Even if break has just passed you can just let someone go quickly.Teachers need to learn that your suppose to help students not try get them to misbehave so ya can remove em.
@@TheRage07 yes, dumbass - if they had any sense, if he had no history of fights, they’d just put him in iso for a day or something and let him REVISE for his exams, this is what happened to a friend of mine in this exact situation last yeat
Actually no...wholesome and mature girls, apologise properly. It’s just immature if you give someone dirty looks. Not all girls do that. That’s just childish
LMAO I also had a guy like this in our class. He would always make trouble. I remember it was 4:50 PM in the evening and he got detention till 8 pm. Poor guy he left school.
@@idrk1507 it is legal to get that much detention. Happens in every British school lol. Someone gets detention when they make to much trouble. Like another guy his name was james in my school he once broke the school window and he got detention.
True, although some girls take years. As a female, if I don’t get on with someone then I’m like aight chill. If I have an argument, then I’m like aight whatever and make up when the other person is ready. I admit I used to be catty but then I grew up.
I can relate to Paris a lot when it comes to learning, everything he says I relate to. I don’t think I’ve succeeded in my classes, I fail every class that I know and I always get low scores. I try hard but I’m just tired of everything so I can’t do it and I never hand in assignment that was meant to be homework because by the time I’m at home I don’t remember what I need to do.
I like Mr Skinner. When I was at school there was only 1 teacher that never gave up on me and that was my English teacher. I was (WRONGLY ACCUSED) suspended for swearing behind a teachers back even though I had like 6 people backing me up, 4 of the people who backed me up didn't even like me. I spent 2 weeks in a centre before sitting outside my head teacher's office every day for almost 4 months, I had no teacher nor any guidance from anyone, I came in at 11am until 1pm then went straight home. My head teacher was going to let me back into class for my core subjects IF one of the teachers was willing to give me a second chance. It was my English teacher who said she'd take me back into her class. I passed both of my English GCSEs but I failed my maths (since I weren't allowed back into maths) I was so happy because it was just one teacher who helped me out
I dunno why but Mr Skinner just looks really mean(he's not) and Mr Palambo seems like a prick at times. Paris just seemed like a kid who acted out because they struggled. I just realised that mr Skinner is a weird name.
Man I wish I was in that school they take their time and talk to the students and laugh with them e.t.c in my school they are just treating us like slaves all the teachers say is do what I tell you to do Don’t talk back when I’m talking don’t raise your hands to answer a question till I call you like Tf I’m happy that my man passed his gcse tho good job bro :)
@@blmafflck3105 Paris you are all over the comment section destroying peoples inspiration. Stop trying to take away the feeling that we all should aspire to a school like this. Doesn't matter if it's not 100% true or not, it's there for aspiration and what is possible. Even if people pickup something from the show and they go and try to do better as a teacher or student, then the show have it's job. That's what entertainment and art is for. And this type of television is there as a form of art. It's like watching action movie, and then the actors go around telling people, that's not really real. Like why?
5:55 That actually pretty deep. Caus i always wondered why most boys always mess about or do the most in class or just give up when they could just ask the teacher for help. But their probably to embarrassed which is actually sad.
Some people have the god-given gift of intelligence, something which is like a strong metal. Shape it (e.g. learn, study, work hard, achieve, live) and that metal will become a powerful spear. Leave it (e.g. mess about, attitude) and it’ll become a useless lump of metal, therefore, abusing your natural talents and wasting your lives. Dream. Believe. Achieve.
lets be honest, its this system of standardized testing and treating students like robots or factory workers that breeds an environment where people like paris end up being frustrated about. this system needs to change in UK, US, and any other country that uses a system similar to this
Boys are just more mature when it comes to forgiving... girls never forget and never forgive boys forgive but don’t forget but they don’t let that get in the way of a friendship. That’s why I like boys as friends.
