Im going to assume you didnt play season 1 dragonflight because your comment screams it. The reason these set bonuses are boring as fuck is because they want gather data on hero talents and the new talent changes that are happening right now. its a lot easier to start off a season with minor tier bonuses while seeing how things shake up with new systems then to start with over complicated crazy tier bonuses and having to do a bunch of nerfs. Either way the wow community is gonna complain because thats the only IO score they keep maxed out For the logical and reasonable people who pay attention to dev trends S2 of the expansion should have better bonuses that do more class and spec things. I say this as someone who honestly thinks stats in wow are boring without things like armor pen, expertise, and other bonuses.

For the pres evoker question: There was a video on alpha that a capstone on pres tree was altered and the 4 piece season 1 & 4 Living Flame proc was cooked into the talent tree. It honestly needed to be something baseline for pres.
Love how hard capped assassinations damage is. Your dps is solely dependent on poison / bleed tic rate which will always leave assassin in the shadow of subtlety each and every time unless we get to single target a boss and don’t have to move around to just spam mutilate and envenom for like the 4th expansion in a row to be able to do damage outside of poisons and bleeds.
Been playing the beta, and the ramp up on Enhance shaman is very long. I'm not sure if it takes more than a minute for use to acceptable damage or if after our second set of wolves come out, we start doing scary damage. I'll do further testing after I get a working details.
Pressing fel dev is a death sentence sometimes you would only have 1 bounce back from death to 35% every 8 min and another 35% max hp from demon form. when you fell dev is for dps it hits 100k ish and when you send it its when the other team can easily 1 shot you so using it is a risk.
ret season one was very similar to war within season one but i guess not too bad can always use flat damage i like things simple on set bonuses so win i guess
Cant wait til release. Yes some tier sets are weird, overall nothing big and fancy, but i get that when introducing the hero talents aswell.. It kinda takes over. I think its a better direction they are moving into. Having tier sets be more of a "meh" thing that just passivly increases some abilties and not alter your gamestyle. Thats what talents should be for.. So whenever they work on something gameplay wise..They just need to tune talents, not talents AND tier sets, and to top it off you might have your gameplay change for each tier with new sets etc. Better to just give a new talent, and give people the choice of going in a new direction, or stay with the old
the ww monk one is weird. you want to weave tiger palms in to get bigger blackout kicks. but now you also want to not weave in tiger palms just so you can get big tigerpalms ? this is very weird
pretty sure the 4pc set bonus wont change our rotation at all, you'll just passively get bigger tiger palms. The 2pc we may wanna play around a bit, like trying to have the buff up before using your highest burst abilities but I doubt it'll go much further than that
Hoping Aug becomes viable again. It was really fun for about 5 minutes, and in fact, I'd like to see Enhance Shaman take on more of a similar support role. Really hoping they are able to make marks hunter at least an A tier spec. I've abandoned hunter altogether in S4 because once again theyve nerfed the one "thing" it had into the ground making BM and Surv just better. Still thinking it will be a lock for Disc/Fist mains but who knows what the next update will hold lol.
1 question. Does blizzard still keep the same nerf in dragon flight to TWW? For example, invigorating shadow dust vanish reduce all ability cd by 15/30s in dragon flight currently nerf by 50% in pvp only 7/15s. In TWW its only 10/20s in PVE, so does it also get nerf by 50% in pvp to only 5/10s? Or Blizzard remove all the nerf for new expansion?
Based on my experience, no. In Shadowlands this has been covered by Venruki, Supa and I think Cdew has talked about that also. Maybe that's not the case anymore, but up to Shadowlands, nerfs to abilities got carried out to the newest expansions instead of them just completely deleting the nerf and tunning the ability's output afterwards. eg. Glacial Spike and Comet Storm got nerfed in Legion and only unnerfed towards the end of Shadowlands.
Yeah they said they were busy on other classes so they kinda just threw together Totemic real quick for resto/enhance cause they ran out of time on more important classes. That's not verbatim but it's essentially what I derived.

The 8% damage to all minions is really only going to effect the horseman, you'll be able to summon everything as san'layn. The haste portion will be easy to stack as well outside of horseman. I'm not really that concerned honestly.
But frost can’t even do big one shot on the beta lmfaoooo. Their damage is so low with cool downs active on top of everyone HP is like 9000k+. U barely hit 500k, let alone 900k lmaooo
