Thank you! They're definitely getting harder to find not chopped up

It's a hard find for sure without being hacked or chopped, My dad had a 53 with that big steering wheel to muscle it through the turns, I subbed for content hope you grow the channel.

Yes I like that it's stock as well even if it is a little rough. For no power steering this one doesn't turn too bad. And thanks for the sub! I really appreciate it

Lucky you! This is my dream car. I would return all hood ornaments. Replace all chrome. Make it original. Then paint hood, roof and trunk black. Fenders, doors and quarter panels to trunk a dark Maroon. Install skirts. Interior door panels head liner, carpet and seats combinations light and dark brown. Install glass packs. I've not been able to find a 49/50 Mercury that I could afford. Bought a 52 ford customline v8 instead. Gave to my grandson. I'm 84 and not able to do much if any car restoration. I think you would like car color. Don't sell. Keep and enjoy. Best of luck.

Dark maroon would be a sharp color. I might try my hand at painting it. They're definitely getting harder to find. A 52 ford is pretty good looking car too. Nice you were able to pass that along

You're not wrong about that, but I'm an optimist!

Always loved the '50 Merc. I'm surprised there's less interest in the model. I'd have thought GenXers and early Millennials would be big on it for nostalgia reasons because it featured so prominently in Stallone's "Cobra."

Nostalgia certainly plays a big role in what people like. I think it's just a little too old for people my age to have had alot of contact with growing up.
