Hi sir, i have a serious question. Ive been reading about PID effect on solar panels. Basically its a power lost due to the panels high voltage relative to ground assuming you are running 600v panels in series. The current escapes theough the panel aluminum frame down to the ground. So my question is this. What if you dont ground your solar panels? Can you still experience the PID effect?
Yep it’ll work. You’ll just need to go change it to reflect your max/min voltages, temp, etc. I like using the iPhone app and Paying the $5 or whatever to upgrade it to change settings.
