The setup for the scene is that Maria Gambrelli (Elke Sommer) is a suspect in a murder. Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers) is following her on her day off. She goes to a nudist resort. At the resort, they find the dead body of one of Gambrelli's coworkers. At that moment, the police raid the resort. Clouseau and Gambrelli avoid the police by crawling through the bushes to get to Clouseau's car. They proceed to drive toward Clouseau's apartment in Paris.
