awesome 1951 Chevy 3100 Pickup Truck. This truck is a custom build recently completed with 110 miles. The body is all original steel with a real nice patina inside and out. The truck will be sold with a clear and correct Tennessee title.
As stated above the body is an all original steel 1951 Chevy pickup. It has all new glass, new wood bed with the original bed strips used and new Rocket wheels and tires. The stance is great on a pro S-10 frame swap. It also has Checkered Racing 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes. The windows roll up and down with ease and the doors shut soft and firm. The excellent patina has been clear coated.
The interior has great original patina including radio delete plate, original steering wheel and original shifter that was retained and converted to work the 4L60 transmission. The seat was recovered and it has all new custom wiring with New Vintage gauges. The speedometer is calibrated, the fuel gauge works, as well as all functions on the gauges, and the AC is Old Air Products and blows nice and cold. The lights are all new including the interior light and the running lights stay on with the headlamps. (the original trucks the running lights went off when headlamps on… looks better with them on). The computer for the motor is mounted under the seat and the gas tank and sending unit are new as well as the custom wiring.
The motor is a 2002 5.3LS Vortec LMG motor from a Silverado with the matching 4L60E overdrive transmission. The donor had 123,000 miles and it starts and runs excellent. It has new dual stainless exhaust … sounds great. The truck rides, drives, and handles great and it has plenty of power. I have had the truck cruising down the interstate 70-75mph with the AC on and its sweet!
This is a good truck and a great build. Its ready to go. I don’t know of anything at all that it needs unless you want turn signals. It doesn’t have turn signals (never did) but could be added easily...
